@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory “You’re a bit blunt intellectually” after you merely questioned the WILD comparison to fascism is VILE

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory A lesson on how NOT to behave as an educator with @PhilBeadle remember not to tell your students that their intelligence is too low for you to engage with them

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory Interesting to see Morissey's take on teaching......

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory He was so rude and unprofessional. How can anyone take him or his words seriously?

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory The point that @PhilBeadle was making was that the desire to control another person, their actions and behaviours (Bourdieu’s habitus) has strong connections to the nature of control of the individual we see in certain political systems - even more so if this is group control.

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory Definitely learnt another of Beadle’s techniques. Whenever I’m next asked a difficult question, just tell the other that ‘You’re not clever enough to interview me.’ I so hope I can one day transcend to the great zeniths of Beadledom. Fear I may be too intellectually blunt 😞

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory This made me sad (again). Lots is making me sad on here recently. I also dislike SLANT and would be happy to share my views but I have to say, I would do it without the rudeness. My 15 year old daughter has just watched this and said she was shocked at the ego. Sorry but… 🤷🏻♀️

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory Tell @RogersHistory and we’re sure he will get you on!

@PhilBeadle @RogersHistory Thank you @PhilBeadle for this - a superb, reasoned, philosophical yet still practical slap down of SLANT, the case for which was so inadequately, naively put by @RogersHistory. It wasn’t a discussion between 2 equals. It is not a teaching strategy. It IS a control strategy.
