#WATCH | Delhi | Students who have been evacuated under #OperationSindhu from conflict-affected Iran raised issues about the buses that the J&K government is providing for them to travel to their home state; however, CM Omar Abdullah informed via a post on 'X' that this issue has been looked into and directed the officials regarding the same. A student says, "...The buses that have been provided are in such bad condition that even animals will not travel in them. We can't go in such buses, and our safety could have been compromised. We are here (in Delhi) and for that we are thankful to the central government as they have evacuated us smoothly, we faced no problem till here, but we are having a problem here now..."

#WATCH | Mumbai: On his tweet regarding Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut says, "BJP wins by creating 'Jaichands'. Otherwise, what is the BJP's strength? In every state, in every city, they break up every party and create 'Jaichand' to win elections. They are equal to zero. What is the Deputy Chief Minister's strength? As long as they are in power, people will salute them; otherwise, people will throw shoes at their cars." On BMC results, he says, "As Chief Minister, he has unlimited power; he has the police, he has many other people and resources at his disposal, he has money, he has everything. Even if it were another Chief Minister, the results would have been the same. The biggest battle was in Mumbai. We shouldn't assume that the BJP won in Mumbai. It is balanced. The MNS got fewer seats; they should have gotten around 15, that's what I think. We lost 10 to 15 seats by a very small margin. But in the BMC, the opposition's strength is equal to that of the ruling party. We have 105 people inside. What will these people do? They can't sell Mumbai. We are sitting there. Even if we lose our lives, we will end the rule of these contractors."

Trump: I will not be abandoning the farmers. We are strong on the borders and for the farmers and others in the hotel industry. We have similar situations and Kristi and I will be working with the states and we will work something where the farmers and be responsible. They have had people around for 10 or 15 years and they know them well, we will put them responsible, and issue a form of card or documents and the farmer will be responsible for these people. They will not have citizenship but they will be working and paying taxes. We need to get our farmers the people they need or else the farmers will not be able to do their land. It was tried when there was a very strong guy, and he got everybody out, and every farm almost in the country but every farm in California or Iowa went bankrupt and they had nobody to work and we do not want that situation. We will put our farmers and others in charge of the people that they have under them. They know the people and it will work out well. We will take care of our farmer but to get the criminals out. #WATCH | Delhi | On IIT Delhi's 68th Foundation Day, IIT Delhi Director Rangan Banerjee says, "We have nearly 65,000 alumni, out of which 40,000 are in India. They have an impact on companies, in corporate, in the public sector, in the government and in start-ups... Our alumni have also created employment... In academia, our alumni have been leaders in research. Many of them have been serving as directors of IITs, IIMs, and NITs... For the first time, we have assessed the impact of alumni contributions to India and globally and started a report... In the years that they have been there, the alumni have been transformed, they have learnt and they have contributed and they continue to contribute. This document quantifies this and shows that all the investments that is made for the IITs have actually resulted in impact in the society in terms of jobs, in terms of money..." He also says, "We are going to move from being a single-campus institution to a multi-campus institution. We want to provide an education that is globally competitive, which makes people future-ready. We also want to see that our research makes an impact. We want to see ourselves catalysing the innovation and startup ecosystem in the Delhi NCR region. And also in a few critical areas, we will set some targets for creating some global research impact... We are doing this with extensive consultation with all our stakeholders, students, faculty, industry, our alumni..."
