Um, actually, she said "..a minimum $99 car tab fee" and then said the opposite at the end. 🤔 Either way, it should be a flat fee or none at all since there is already gas tax. Why must they continuously charge taxes on things we have already paid for? 🤨

I'm 100 per cent behind this. It ridiculous how much tabs cost. I have 6 year old vehicle and still over $400.

It's a scam. I have a 1994 F150 4x4 that's rustier than hell because it's spent 32 winters in Minnesota. And yet, for determining the cost of my tabs each year, the state claims it's worth $16,000. That means it depreciated only $4,000 since I bought it in 1994. Utter bullshit.

We shouldn't be paying anything! Maybe 20.00 tops for the tabs period.

Perfect The first time in my life, I am in my 60’s, I purchased what is considered a luxury vehicle. The sales tax is bad enough but penalizing someone every year for that purchase is wrong.

@damob99 Used to pay $35 for my old car and truck. Now its nearly $100 for each. Boat and other recreational fees are way up. I heard the other day the MN Legislature want to charge you to go out and pick wild blueberries. BWCA fees will go up because you eat wild berries!

i literally just got my 'tab' renewal yesterday. $42 and change for a 28yr old truck. this is boomer outrage for their $90k trucks and $70k SUVs

My tabs in FL cost $45 on a '21 Tesla.

I know someone with a cyber truck, and his tab renewal this year is $2,146. He said it is up from $1,600 last year. No one should have to pay that amount, or anything close to it.

How about we remove state taxes and all fees. Pay at the pump or in your electric rate since you need either depending on what vehicle you drive.
