West Champaran District Magistrate (DM) Taranjot Singh said, "Administrative personnel are on alert at the Valmikinagar Barrage and other locations due to the floods in Tibet and Nepal... We have inspected various embankments and the Valmikinagar Barrage. The water has already crossed Devghat in Nepal. The water is expected to reach the barrage around 9 AM. A dispute had been ongoing at the Nagarasu Gurdwara since this afternoon regarding the activities of around a dozen individuals. Officials said that the lights of the gurdwara were switched off in the evening, prompting security agencies to remain on high alert. Considering the safety of pilgrims and local residents, a heavy police force has been stationed outside the gurdwara. The administration stated that 30 to 40 police personnel and more than two dozen ITBP jawans are present at the location.
