#BudgetSpeech2025 Breaking news A total of R284.7 billion has been allocated for social grants, including an increase of R130 for old age and disability grants, raising them to R2,315. The Child Support Grant will increase by R30 to R560, while the foster care grant will increase by R70. Additionally, the COVID-19 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant will be extended for another year with a budget of R35.2 billion.
