A new war is approaching: Heavy fighting broke out on the border between Thailand and Cambodia, — CNN. The Royal Cambodian Army shelled several Thai border towns with multiple rocket launchers. In response, Thailand closed its border with Cambodia because of these attacks. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said the shelling was in response to actions by the Thai army near temples in the provinces of Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, and Ubon Ratchathani. At least one civilian was killed, and seven soldiers were injured by gunfire and artillery fire. Fighting was reported at six locations along the disputed border with northeastern Thailand. The first batch of buses transporting UN staff from the eastern DRC's Goma City where M23 rebels launched a successful offensive, arrive at Katuna border in Kabale District in Western Uganda on January 31, 2025 en route to Entebbe International Airport from where they will be flown to Kinshasa to rejoin their families. Russian Defense Ministry has now released footage from recent strikes with Geran-4 jet-powered long-range attack drones on two targets located on the Ukrainian side of the border with Poland. 1) "Yagodin" international road border crossing - on September 13, 2026, Russian Geran-4 OWA-UAV impacted a gas station situated in the vicinity of the Ukraine-Poland border checkpoint in Ukraine's Volyn Oblast. The attack caused the object and lorries parked there to catch fire. 2) Locomotive at the "Rymachi" train station - on the same day, the Russian military carried out a drone strike on the locomotive of a train at the nearby "Rymachi" station. According to reports, the attack took place shortly after the train carrying former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and top European security officials had passed through. No casualties were noted.

The sole entrance to the village was first closed by a flying checkpoint shortly after 6 a.m., preventing laborers from leaving the village. The entrance remained intermittently closed throughout the day, with soldiers and settlers at times manning the checkpoint together. Throughout the day, settlers moved through the area with their flocks, grazing on privately owned Palestinian land under the protection of the soldiers. At around 9 a.m., soldiers entered the village and detained Mujahed Abu Alia at his scrapyard. They forced him into a military vehicle and took him to the Shaab al-Loz area, where a new settlement outpost was recently established. Once there, the soldiers ordered him to clear rocks from the road leading to the outpost. When he refused, the soldiers beat him, threw him back into the vehicle, drove him back to the scrapyard, and threw him to the ground. They then detained his brother, Muatassem, ordering him to clear the road as well. When he also refused, the soldiers beat him.
