There are several issues between Jammu and Kashmir and the Central Government, whether it is regarding statehood or business rules. We have not had an Advocate General for almost two years... now. The reservation matter, on which the Cabinet had to send a response to the Central Government, has already been prepared. However, that response has still not been sent to the Government of India. So, there were several issues on which I met with the Home Minister." On International Film Festival, he says, "It is a good thing. The Government is organising the first International Film Festival. We are also trying to remind the film industry of the country that, before Switzerland and other countries, films were made in Kashmir, and we would like that tradition to start again."show more

#WATCH | Delhi: On the seventh anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey says, “There was an atmosphere of joy and jubilation throughout the country, and years of hard work were fulfilled that day, because it had been the dream of our supreme leader, the Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray, to have Article 370 removed from Jammu and Kashmir. Today, seven years have passed. First, I congratulate the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their tremendous progress. Tourism has significantly increased, and a full-time government is slowly being formed there. We only wish that the differences that have arisen between the Governor and the Chief Minister are reduced, and Jammu and Kashmir is granted full statehood, so that it can develop more rapidly in the future..."

The Prime Minister stated in Parliament, and the Home Minister reiterated it not just once, but multiple times, both inside and outside Parliament. During an all-party meeting held in Delhi in 2021–22 on Jammu and Kashmir, the Home Minister outlined the sequence: first delimitation, then elections, and finally the restoration of statehood. It is inhospitable to business. We want to correct that impression. We are now asking people to realise that there is a new Bengal which is hospitable and welcoming to business. We are trying to make all sorts of policies, create a policy framework that is attractive to business, and get back the relevance that Bengal once had and which Bengal has unfortunately lost. We believe that many people who originated from West Bengal are working and occupying responsible positions in Bengaluru. We are appealing to all of them to look at Bengal now. We have asked them to consider Bengal as part of their future plans. The past 50 years have been terrible for West Bengal. We have the support of the entire people of West Bengal who want change. We have the support of the central government. We have the total commitment of the state government, which is interested in making supportive policies."
