On the evening of May 21, 2025, LAWMA Waste Infractions Surveillance and Investigation Team expanded its operational efforts in the Abule Egba, Mangoro, and Cement areas along the Abeokuta Expressway. As a result of this monitoring and enforcement operation, five individuals were apprehended for partaking in unlawful waste disposal practices. The five individuals have been transferred to the LAWMA legal team at the Oshodi Taskforce office for appropriate legal proceedings. The operation persisted until the early hours of May 22, 2025.
