Video showing firefighters from London Fire Brigade rescuing people from flats in Whitechapel using ladders, the incident took place on the 7th of February 2024 and was caused by an e-bike which was in active thermal runaway with highly toxic, flammable and explosive vapours blocking escape routes. The incident comes just days just after LFB announced they’d seen a 78% increase in fires caused by e-bikes and e-scooters in 2023 compared to 2022. Incidents involving e-bikes and e-scooters are currently the fastest growing fire risk in London.

Parents, electric dirt bikes are NOT e-bikes. Walton County Sheriff's Office, Florida is seeing an increase in electric dirt bikes, also called “e-motos”, being ridden in neighborhoods and on public roads. Monday, six of these electric dirt bikes were impounded and citations were issued to juveniles 11-14 years old. Many Do NOT have pedals, have high-powered motors, and are designed only for off-road use. Under Florida law, these vehicles are NOT street legal. It’s illegal to ride electric dirt bikes or "e-motos" on public roads, bike lanes, and sidewalks in Walton County. Driving an unregistered, electric dirt bike on a public road can lead to citations, fines, impoundment, and a mandatory court date. Parents are responsible for making sure e-motos are used legally and safely. Even if it was a gift for Christmas and thought to be an e-bike, many of these are electric dirt bikes and the rules of the road are different. Allowing a child to ride an e-moto on streets or sidewalks puts them and everyone around them at serious risk. E-Bike vs. Electric Dirt Bike or E-Moto ✅ E-Bike: • Has pedals with electric assist • Designed for roads, bike paths, and shared spaces • Typically, lower speeds and requires less protective gear • Less than 750 watts • Can travel 28 mph or less depending on class of bike • Classified as a bicycle 🚫 Electric Dirt Bike / E-Moto: • All throttle • Higher power and higher speeds • Built for off-road terrain only • Requires full protective gear • 750 watts or more • Can travel up to 70 mph • Classified as a motor vehicle ➡️ NOT legal on streets or sidewalks Our goal is education and safety. Not enforcement after something goes horribly wrong and ends in a tragedy. When these e-motos are operated illegally on public roads and sidewalks, enforcement action will be taken. Florida assistant principal arrested for DUI for riding an e-bike while intoxicated. The incident came after Kenneth Bevan Jr. was asked to leave a local bar. Deputies reportedly warned him not to ride the e-bike. After leaving the bar, deputies watched him as he walked his bike to a 7-Eleven. At the 7-Eleven, he purchased a 12-pack of Budweiser, placed it in the e-bike basket, and rode off. He was then stopped and arrested. Pretty wild that children are allowed to ride 20+ mph e-bikes in the street, but a grown adult can't ride one after having some beers.

“How to Mix Up Charged Fireballs” 0:00- When going for a fully charged fireball, if the opponent starts forward jumping after seeing the charge, mix in Level 2 charged fireballs to make your timing harder to read. 0:08- If opponents try to fireball bypass with moves like Akuma or Ryu’s Tatsumaki against fully charged or Level 2 fireballs, mix in lightly charged fireballs instead. 0:25- If a lightly charged LP fireball hits a Tatsumaki that was used after mistaking it for a charged fireball, you can follow up with Drive Rush or SA1. 0:35- A situation where the opponent reacts to Viper charged fireball with a forward jump heavy Blanka Ball. If they start looking for that option, Akuma can counter by mixing in lightly charged fireballs. 0:47- From very far ranges, it’s possible to avoid a fully charged fireball on reaction with a neutral jump. (At closer ranges, avoiding a fully charged HP fireball this way is much harder.)
