The Yazidis are really starting to annoy me. To begin with, the people who liberated you, protected your honor, and welcomed you were the Kurds. Instead of thanking them, you belittle them?! This Yazidi claims that there is no Kurdish language and that it is actually the Êzdikî language. He also says that the original Kurds were Yazidis because the religion of the Kurds before Islam was Yazidism. (This narrative was promoted by the PKK.) He also claims that “we are older than the Kurds,” which is a lie. First, it is called the Kurdish language, and the Kurds have been mentioned for thousands of years, whereas the idea of a Yazidi nationality was established by the PKK in 2014 after what they call the “liberation.” No historical book has ever described the Yazidis as a nationality, and there was no one in the world a hundred years ago whose ethnicity was “Yazidi.” Second, the religion of the Kurds before Islam was Zoroastrianism, Yazdanism, or Christianity. There was no such thing as a religion called Yazidism at that time. Third, the Yazidi religion is originally a religion that deviated from Islam. They are followers of Adi ibn Musafir, the Arab Sunni Umayyad, who was praised by Ibn Taymiyyah. The tomb of Adi (Sheikh Adi) is located in Lalish today, and the Yazidis worship it. I have mentioned this. The Syrian Government media sphere is using footage from people killed by the Syrian Government and attributes their death to the Kurds in Rojava, Syria. This footage was taken by a Kurdish journalist in the hospital of Kobane - published by Ronahi TV (a Kurdish channel) The village was attacked by the Syrian Government during which the STG seized control of the village (you can check the timeline, we reported this way before the STG seized control over this village) But for better understanding: if the village was not in Kurdish control, then the wounded children would not have been brought to the hospital in Kobane. Logic: if the YPG was in control of the village, why would they start to bombard it? If the YPG did bombard the village as it was in STG control, why were the children then brought to a Kurdish hospital in Kobane? Syrian Government Media does not even care to accurately create their propaganda. They know that by now, they can blame anything on the Kurds and the STG fanatics will believe it. The village is currently under the control of the YPG again - and it is being attacked by the Syrian Government.

I’ve watched John Kennedy at least five times. While I hope his warning doesn’t fall on deaf ears, I’m even more concerned that it might be yet another empty promise—the kind the Kurds have sadly come to expect from American politicians. “Erdogan, leave the Kurds alone. Kurds as you know are wonderful people. There are probably 30-40 million [sic] …living mostly in Turkey, Iran, Northern Iraq & Syria. Kurds are a distinct ethnic group…a stateless country bc they are spread all over the world. The Kurds are America’s friend 🇺🇸 Not many years ago, ISIS established a caliphate in the Middle East, Which America destroyed. The people most responsible for destroying ISIS were the Kurds. We lost less than 20 American lives in destroying ISIS. Our friends the Kurds lost over 10,000 fighting alongside us, and over 30,000 wounded. Without the Kurds, ISIS would still be there. Erdogan doesn’t like the Kurds. Right now Erdogan has troops, tanks & weapons marshaled at border between Turkey & Syria. The Kurds live very peacefully in northeast Syria, so my message to Erdogan is: Don’t do it! Leave the Kurds alone! If you invade Syria, and touch a hair on the head of the Kurds, I’m going to ask the US Congress to do something, & our sanctions won’t help the economy of Turkey. Syrian Kurds sacrificed thirteen thousand martyrs in the war to defeat ISIS, in addition to thousands of wounded and disabled individuals. The reward and loyalty of America and Europe for the Kurdish sacrifices is that they are now allowing ISIS terrorists—wearing military uniforms and operating under the name of the Syrian Army—to massacre these Kurds and subject them to ethnic cleansing. Today marks the 11th anniversary of the epic liberation of the city of Kobane from ISIS, which is considered the symbol of the defeat of the ISIS caliphate. Yet, for more than a week, it has been under siege and faces daily attacks by the terrorists of the 'New Syrian Army,' despite the ceasefire agreement. As a reminder, the number of martyrs among Iraqi Kurds in the Kurdistan Region in the war against ISIS reaches the thousands. Furthermore, twenty international fighters and volunteers gave their lives in the struggle against ISIS, fighting side by side with their Kurdish comrades.
