The Trump-Pence years really changed the national consensus on China. We imposed $250 billion in tariffs on China. They're there to this day. China is the exception. Trade abusers are the exception. Ultimately, American businesses and American consumers pay American tariffs. That's fundamental economics. Most Hoosiers understand that what we make here, what we grow here, we sell to the world. If the Supreme Court believes that President Trump does not have the power to continue the tariffs, the American people need to CALL their members of Congress and GIVE him that power. With tariffs, President Trump has: ✅ Reduced the trade deficit. ✅ Brought down the overall deficit. ✅ Made people invest in the United States. Congress needs to get this done ASAP.
