Very well articulated Resolution that meets the aspirations of people.N.C should not be under an illusion that people voted for this ,trash of a resolution.wherein 370/35 A is not mentioned nor any condemnation of what India did to jk.they should come to senses not terms with BJP

The BJP will oppose every action by the NC government that undermines the Constitution of India. The speaker of the house acted in an illegal and biased manner towards the BJP MLAs and dragged them out of the assembly, resulting in injury to 5 BJP MLAs. The article that NC is referring to was temporary, and now there is no provision to bring back the special status, which only led to turmoil in J&K : Sh. Sunil Sharma (LOP J&K Assembly and MLA Padder-Nagseni Constituency)

Unfortunately, they are not allowing us to protest peacefully. Democracy is being strangled. There are at most 100 of us who have come from Jammu and Kashmir with the hope that we would be allowed to protest peacefully at Jantar Mantar and demand our rights from the Central government. This is an essential issue; because of this, many homes in Jammu and Kashmir have been destroyed... Now, if people demand it, the government should impose a ban on this (drugs) so that youth do not fall into the addiction of drugs." He further said, "It is very unfortunate that the BJP wants to take the country towards hatred and polarisation. You will not allow sacrifice on Eid. Somewhere, in this country, Muslims are seen as second-class citizens. Our demand from everyone is that the country should run according to the Constitution and Muslims should get their rights."

#WATCH | Budgam, J&K: On the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference's proposed protest at Jantar Mantar over the restoration of statehood and other issues, PDP MLA Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi says, “Regarding the scheduled protest during the Monsoon Session, it is certainly appropriate to remind the powers in Delhi of the promises made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir—whether concerning statehood or constitutional rights. However, the National Conference must first clarify its primary objective… If they acknowledge that statehood won't be restored until a BJP Chief Minister is in place, then what is the point of the protest? They should first answer a question regarding what their members have actually done over the past year or so…”

He said, "I think there's a strong dissent in Kashmir against this act of violence, and it's a communal act. They (terrorists) are trying to break us. People of Kashmir stand with the nation. They feel and understand the pain of the country and those who died in this attack are our martyrs and we are with the nation in this situation. I think the Government of India will respond. But from Kashmir, I will say that there is a strong resentment against violence for the first time in the last 30 years."

So, you have nothing to hide except the fact that you want to get votes by keeping the issue of Jammu & Kashmir alive.
