#WATCH | Delhi: On seat-sharing talks with DMK, All India Congress Committee (AICC) In-Charge for Tamil Nadu Girish Chodankar says, "Our committee and their committee, we had a hour long discussion yesterday. We only hope that the wish list that we have submitted will be accepted by the DMK. Right now, our priority is assembly election so that we have sufficient numbers in the assembly where we can have our own member of parliament in the Rajya Sabha. They offered us 25 seats, but that is not acceptable to us. Whatever we want, we have given to them..." On TVK, he says, "It's a new party. We can't underestimate them. They are getting traction among the youngsters. And they are also recognising the strength of the Congress and our leader, Rahul ji, in Tamil Nadu." On the possibility of alliance with TVK, he says, "Right now, talks are going on with the DMK. And we have submitted to them what we desire in this election..."

#WATCH | Washington DC | On conversation with President Trump, US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor says, "I have been with the President for 10 years, so a large part of the conversation was like two friends catching up... but I also told him about my visits to India... I also spoke to him about the growing trade relations. On both sides, we see businesses coming here and going there every week, and it is a win-win situation for both..." On meeting over India-US trade deal, he says, "Ambassador Greer has the President's full confidence and so we are getting close to finalizing that. But, these things are complex legal things and this is not of one page. We have thousands of items between our two nations that we are working on. And so the fact that we've gone so far, that is a great sign for the relationship and I am hopeful that we will be able to wrap this up sooner than later."

#WATCH | Delhi | Addressing the Raisina Dialogue 2026, US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau says, "India should understand that we are not going to make the same mistakes with India that we made with China 20 years ago... Then the next thing we know, you are beating us in many commercial things..." "We are excited about the trade deal that is almost at the finish line now, and I think that that can be the basis for really unlocking almost limitless potential. We are very excited about focusing on India and these economic and commercial opportunities. But India should understand that we are not going to make the same mistakes with India that we made with China 20 years ago in terms of saying, "You will be able to develop all these markets, and then the next thing we know, you are beating us in a lot of commercial things." We are going to make sure that whatever we do is fair to our people because ultimately, we have to be accountable to our own people just as the government of India has to be accountable to its people..." #WATCH | On being asked what kind of relationship India wants with China, EAM Dr S Jaishankar says, "We have a very unique relationship. First, we are the only two countries in the world with over a billion people. Both of us have a long history, with ups and downs over time. Today, both countries are on an upward trajectory; here is the challenge, and we are also direct neighbours. The challenge is that as any country rises, its balance with the world and its neighbours changes. When two countries of this size, history, complexity, and significance rise in parallel, they inevitably interact. The key issue is how to create a stable equilibrium and transition into the next phase of balance. We want a stable relationship where our interests are respected, our sensitivities are recognized, and where it works for both of us. That is really the main challenge in our relationship. For India, the border is a critical aspect. Over the past 40 years, the assumption has been that peace and tranquillity in the border areas are essential for the relationship to grow. If the border is unstable, not peaceful, or lacks tranquillity, it will inevitably affect the growth and direction of our relationship..." (Source: Social media page of Dr S Jaishankar)

#WATCH | Bogotá, Colombia | BJP MP Tejasvi Surya says, "...We also learned that Colombia is the second largest market for Indian two-wheelers outside India... The message that we are taking back from here to our respective constituencies and states is that Colombia offers massive economic opportunities and potential for Indian companies. The relationship will only further strengthen, and of course, with Colombia's election to the Security Council, we hope it will be further strengthened by the understanding of the security challenges that India is facing in our immediate geography."

#WATCH | Delhi | On trade negotiations between the US and India, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "It is a challenging negotiation. We are negotiating with many countries. The US is not the only negotiation. We have ongoing negotiations with the EU, we already concluded a deal with the UK, and we are talking with other countries also. If we can't compete in America, we may have to diversify our markets outside of America. We are not out of options. If America is completely unreasonable with its demands, we have to move elsewhere. That is the strength of India; we are not a totally export-dependent economy like China. We have a good and strong domestic market. We must give strong support to our negotiators to find the best deal possible. If a good deal is not possible, we may have to walk away..."

#WATCH | Delhi: Ambassador of Ireland to India, Kevin Kelly, says, "It's our plan to use our Presidency to promote Irish culture. We are a small country; you could fit our population into a suburb of Delhi, so it's very important for us as a small country to get noticed in this massive country, India. We do it through culture; we do it through showcasing our music, our theatre, our literature, and that's something that we very much share with India... We will have a full program of activity that will be trying to raise awareness and remind people about not just Irish-India links and relationships, but also the fact that Ireland is a strong and committed member of the European Union, and the European Union and India together can be a force for good."

#WATCH | Delhi: US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor says, "...Every week we have individuals who show up to the Embassy and they ask if it is safe to invest in India. Is there somewhere that we can partner with? And our answer to them is 'yes'. It is not an answer we give around the world. We are seeing incredible innovation come here because they are welcome. You have a government that is forward-leaning, that has cut and changed rules to accommodate giant tech companies that we have appreciated in the US and are now looking to expand in trusted territories such as India."
