This is your state govt under Walz and the DFL. That's why only the feds do prosecutions. "Despite mounting evidence, Dexter said oversight tightened — not on fraudsters, but on investigators. 'We were labeled as racially biased,' he testified."

They silenced the whistleblowers and the investigators. In other words, they covered up the Somali fraud.

This is the same symptom of a deep-seated illness we see, eg, in schools - where escalating consequences for misbehavior results in increased scrutiny NOT of the causes of misbehavior among certain cohorts, but of the motives of those making the rules.

What he's describing about the State Gov't is the same mindset that allowed Pakistani criminal gangs in Rotherham in the UK to kidnap and rape thousands of underage girls for more than a decade while the police did nothing. All driven by the fear of being labeled racist.

@CommieCt So many issues that need attention. I feel the ICE and lady men dancing at Superbowl are simply distractions. Lots of dark stuff going on. The whole Owens/Kirk thing, the amount of lying by the media, politicians and celebrities, Islam taking over, Lemon being lifted up... Dark.

Racial bias is always the first cry a government gangster makes to cover up their crimes. You would think that eventually people would learn to stop responding to that race baiting It’s the only way to stop their crimes.

THERE IT IS 🚨 Official hearing in Minnesota reveals Tim Walz BLOCKED INVESTIGATIONS into “high priority” fraud cases - He SHUT DOWN criminal investigations - No new criminal investigations allowed - They changed the name from “calling it fraud to calling it over billing” - They were told they could no longer meet with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agents - They created an entire department to make sure it was no longer called fraud and was called over billing It’s time to arrest Tim Walz “Do you have any examples of how the Walts administration blocked investigators from moving forward with high priority fraud investigations?” “Yes, we do, Mr. Chairman. I have met with whistleblowers and gotten documents from them about how after the original C-CAP whistleblower report came out in March and April of 2019, subsequent to that, there was an Office of Inspector General within DHS that had investigative authority to do surveillance, warrants, and seize, electronics and THRY WERE SHUT DOWN. They were told they could no longer do criminal investigations. They were told they could no longer meet with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agents that were assigned to them without supervisors approval. And instead, when they found, one of the other members talked about how they changed the language. They went from calling it fraud to calling it over billing. And they created an over billing committee to all the investigative agents now couldn't do criminal investigations and they had to flag issue over billing and then and a committee would decide if any of that over billing would be recouped” “So they shut down criminal investigations. They created a committee to call it over billing and decide if over billing investigations would even try to this money. This is evidence that Tim Waltz is in. It sounds to me like Tim Waltz was directly involved here.“

The story of what happened to Henry Hill after the events of Goodfellas is arguably just as interesting as what took place in the film, albeit more tragic. Despite what a lot of people believe, Henry was only in the witness protection program for two years. Ed McDonald, the prosecutor who helped turn Hill into a cooperating witness - and who also played himself in Goodfellas - explained what happened to him afterwards. “I can’t tell you how many times a month I read that Henry Hill was in the program for seven years, Henry Hill was in the program for six years, Henry Hill was in the program for ten years. Henry goes into the program in June of 1980… In August of 1981, Henry was in his third city. So he had blown Omaha, he had blown the suburbs of Cincinnati and Kentucky, and he was now in Seattle. And I get a phone call from Washington and they said, ‘He’s blown it again. He’s done.’ I go down, I plead with them. They said, ‘Look, he’s out. He’s out as of September 1st. We will fund him through the end of the year so he can have the wherewithal to be testifying at the point-shaving case. But after that, he’s done.’ By the 1st of January, 1982, Henry was out of the witness protection program. This is when I come in, and I’m sort of like Henry’s guardian angel. I went to Steve Carbone of the FBI and I said, ‘He’s working on all these cases because he cooperated in many cases for us. The witness protection program and the Justice Department are not going to do it anymore. Can the Bureau come up with some money?’ So the Bureau came up with money to support him for about six months, and then the Bureau pulled the plug. I had a friend at the New York City Police Department, a detective who did homicide cases in organized crime matters. And we worked out a deal where we’d bring Henry in, and Henry would talk about organized crime murders. And for every murder that they could close, Henry would get paid some money. I don’t remember what it was. It was probably $500 or $1,000. And at one point, I said to Henry, ‘Who have you been identifying as being responsible for these organized crime murders?’ There were like 30 of them. He started telling me the names of the people, and the vast majority of the people he identified were dead. They were people who had been killed themselves… So the detectives were closing the cases, which means that they get credit for solving a murder. But they didn’t necessarily solve the murder - I think they were allowing wise guys who were responsible to go scot-free. So it was kind of crazy. But that sort of dried up by 1984, 1985. At that point, Henry had no support from the government any longer. And at the time, he was doing crazy stuff. He was getting arrested. Mostly, what he was getting arrested for was the result of alcoholism. He’d go out and go to a bar and get blind drunk, then go out and drive and get arrested for DWI. And then maybe he’d throw a punch at the cops. And one time I called the prosecutor in Kansas or someplace, and I said, ‘What happened?’ They said, ‘Well, he was arrested for breaking and entering.’ ‘They found him at a grocery store on the floor with a six-pack of beer. It was after the bars had closed. Henry wanted to keep drinking, so he broke into a grocery store and just went and got a six-pack.’ I guess some alarm went off that Henry didn’t hear, and they found him on the floor and arrested him for breaking and entering.” It was crazy, sort of minor-league stuff until, I guess, late '87… (1/2)

Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll had never met before the first day of filming of Alfred Hitchcock's "The 39 Steps" (1935). They were handcuffed together on the first morning immediately after being introduced for a scene. When the scene was filmed, Hitchcock had lost the keys to the handcuffs. For nearly an hour, while a hunt for the "missing" key was going on, Donat and Carroll were talking about their lives & exchanged experiences. After Hitchcock noticed that they were getting along well, he took out the "missing" key from his pocket, released them from the cuffs and said with a grin on his face, "Now that you two know each other we can go ahead." "We had never met before our making of 'The 39 Steps' together ('together-' is a particularly suitable word here.) On our first morning at the studio, immediately after being introduced, we were shackled in a pair of handcuffs, each having one hand imprisoned, and commenced to act a scene. Such a start was not exactly helpful in establishing relations, we thought, and these feelings were not lessened when, at the conclusion of the scene 'Hitch' lost the key of the handcuffs! For nearly an hour Madeleine and I shared this enforced companionship, while the hunt for the key of the handcuffs was sustained. There was nothing else to do, so we talked of our mutual friends, of our ambitions, and of film matters generally. Gradually our reserve thawed as we exchanged experiences. When Hitch saw that we were getting along famously, he extracted the 'missing' key from his waistcoat pocket, released us, and said, with a satisfied grin, 'Now that you two know each other we can go ahead.'" ("Mr. Chips: The Life of Robert Donat", Kenneth Barrow, 1985) P.S: On this day, 91 years ago, "The 39 Steps" (1935) premiered in London, UK.

Former Homeland Security agent claims prosecutors ignored Minnesota day care fraud cases: ‘Just evaporated’ | Patrick Reilly, New York Post Former Homeland Security agent claims prosecutors ignored Minnesota day care fraud cases: ‘Just evaporated’ A retired Homeland Security Investigations agent recalled looking into fraud at Minnesota day care centers 10 years ago — but said the probe inexplicably “went into thin air” and nothing ever came of it. Jeremy Christenson, who worked with HSI for 16 years, said he was part of a months-long fraud investigation in 2015 into day care centers that seemed completely empty, with a task force of 20 law enforcement agents and the state Department of Human Services. They were probing Somali migrants who “were setting up sham day cares, [with] fake bills, fake students, or just enrolling students that never came. It was just all fake daycares. That’s the easiest way to explain it,” Christenson told Minnesota’s Alpha News. “Never, not one of the day cares I served warrants on, not one person was ever present. Just empty buildings, stacks of invoices and student records of people that our surveillance showed never went there,” he explained. But ultimately, he said, the task force inexplicably “just kind of went away.” “All of a sudden it just evaporated, just went away into thin air. No idea whatever happened with the case,” he said. The retired agent’s shocking comments come amid a new massive fraud scandal in the North Star State in which the Somali immigrant community has been accused of bilking millions of dollars in state aid meant for day care centers. An investigation into the allegations has intensified after this weekend’s viral video from independent journalist Nick Shirley showed multiple child care centers in Minnesota that had received millions in state funding appearing completely inactive. Here’s the latest on the Minnesota fraud scheme: - Trump admin freezes all childcare payments to Minnesota after massive fraud allegations: ‘We have turned off the money spigot’ - Misspelled Minnesota day care closed last week, state claims — on same day owners told The Post it’s up and running - Quality ‘Learing’ Center day care finally fixes its misspelled sign after national outrage - House GOP Whip Tom Emmer calls for deportation of Somali fraudsters in Minnesota One day care with a misspelled sign that got $4 million in taxpayer money had its doors shuttered despite advertising it was open. In the wake of the video, FBI Director Kash Patel said the agency has deployed additional personnel and investigative resources to Minnesota as part of its ongoing efforts to “dismantle large-scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs.” “The FBI believes this is just the tip of a very large iceberg. We will continue to follow the money and protect children, and this investigation very much remains ongoing,” he posted on X Sunday. “Furthermore, many are also being referred to immigration officials for possible further denaturalization and deportation proceedings where eligible.”

Jeff Bezos on the exact moment he realized he would never be a great physicist: "I really was determined to be a theoretical physicist. It's why I went to Princeton in the first place. And then I realized I was going to be a mediocre theoretical physicist. There were a few people in my classes, in quantum mechanics and so on, who could effortlessly do things that were so difficult for me." "Theoretical physics is not one of those fields where only the top few percent move the state of the art forward. It's one of those things where your brain has to be wired in a certain way." "My friend Joe and I were working on a very difficult partial differential equations problem set one night, and there was one problem we worked on for three hours. We made no headway whatsoever. And we looked up at each other at the same time and we said, Yasantha." "He stared at it for just a few seconds, maybe 10 seconds, and he said, cosine. And I said, what do you mean, cosine? He said, that's the answer. And I said, no, no, no, come on. And he said, let me show you. And he took out some paper and wrote down three pages of equations, everything canceled out, and the answer was cosine." "I said, Yasantha, did you do that in your head? And he said, oh no, that would be impossible. A few years ago I solved a similar problem, and I could map this problem onto that problem, and then it was immediately obvious that the answer was cosine." "You have an experience like that, you realize maybe being a theoretical physicist isn't what the universe wants you to be."

This part of my interview with Andrew Bridgen is one of the hardest conversations I’ve had on camera. We were talking about Covid policy and Andrew raised NICE Guideline 163 and what happened to vulnerable elderly people at the very start of the pandemic. He explains how elderly patients were moved out of hospitals to clear space for a wave of Covid cases that never came. Many of those people were in hospital for a reason. They were receiving ongoing care and medication. Instead, they were discharged without that medication and sent into care homes with midazolam and morphine. Andrew asks a question that was repeatedly raised in Parliament and never answered. Why would anyone give respiratory suppressants to people suspected of having a respiratory illness? He believes tens of thousands of vulnerable elderly people died breathlessly and were recorded as Covid deaths. And that this fear was then used to drive compliance and push the rollout of experimental vaccines. What struck me most is what happened when he raised these concerns internally. He was told there was no political appetite for these views. That he might be proven right one day. But that by continuing he was taking on the most powerful vested interests in the world and putting himself at personal risk. This clip is unedited and exactly as it was said. Watch it carefully. Sit with it. And ask yourself what it says about a system where questions like these are not answered but silenced.
