Her Fraudulency is being a fraud again, just like 2004. We also have her to thank for online betting/gambling being ILLEGAL on WA State. After the tribes paid her and WA State Dems tens of millions, they passed a law in 2005 making all online gambling ILLEGAL in WA State, ensuring mostly Tribal casinos enjoyed a monopoly on legal gambling in state. When the Feds made online gambling legal a few years back, they left it up to the states whether to allow it or not within their states. WA State allowed some online gambling, like Draft Kings, but only if online bets from your phone/mobile device were physically made from a partner tribal casino property. Otherwise it’s illegal off partner tribal casino properties. The tribal casinos pay very little to the state in taxes, while the state is missing out on multi billions each year in revenue from percentages of all online bets made within the state.

In 2024 they went further — passing Initiative 2111, which explicitly banned the state from enacting one. Democrats amended that ban and passed it anyway. 51-46 in the House. 27-22 in the Senate. Senate Bill 6346 imposes a 9.9% tax on household income above $1 million. The bill includes a “necessity clause” that blocks a public referendum. Opponents cannot put repeal to a vote.
