Watching an iPhone 4s video made me realize how far ahead Apple was at that time 😭 Like 1080p 30fps on an 8MP camera? Stabilization? A Siri that understands what users are saying? Apple silicon? 🫪 I thought all of these features we heard about a few years back... show more

They dumbed down Siri in the newer models because they were afraid of AI getting too superior...😂

Imagine how amazing IOS would be today if Apple hadn’t fired Scott Forstall and replaced him with that clown Craig Federighi

I was told on a site in Dublin a couple of years ago by an African man that they are here to take back what we stole from them. If this is the attitude these people arrive with, what are the chances of them integrating into the countries they move to? This Video is that attitude in a nutshell.

Host: What's most shocking is the age of some of the models at the parties [with Trump]. Pilling: There were girls, I would say 14, 15 years old from Europe. The European girls. Host: They were 14? Pilling: There were girls that were 14, 15 years old, for sure. I mean, I didn't run up and say, "How old are you?" But they looked younger than I was and I was 17. You just knew because of what they were wearing and how they would hold themselves. Male Witness: And these girls are all like, you know, anywhere from 14, 15, 16 years old. There were very few girls above the age of 19 there. Host: And you saw Donald Trump with these girls who were that young, 15, 16. Male Witness: Absolutely.

Habba: Then you have judges saying we don't like the way that was done, put them back on a plane and bring him back to only to establish what? That they were deported or that they were or weren’t part of a gang? I don’t care

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman says that even though Apple partnered with Google Gemini for Siri, they actually run their business on Anthropic. "Apple runs on Anthropic at this point. Anthropic is powering a lot of the stuff Apple's doing internally in terms of product development and a lot of their internal tools." "They have custom versions of Claude running on their own servers internally, too. This Google deal just came together a few months ago. They were not going to use Google. Apple actually was going to rebuild Siri around Claude. But Anthropic was holding them over a barrel. They wanted a ton of money from them, several billion dollars a year, and at a price that doubled on an annual basis for the next three years."

Few years ago we went over to Calais undercover as NGOs. Here's an activist from L'Auberge des Migrants talking about how there was a gun shot in the camp we were in recently. He was saying that this is why the NGOs all like to work together so they don't put themselves at risk. (These are the people helping them come to England btw). If you go to the camps, at least expose the people involved.

John Ternus: "When I started [at Apple], the way we tended to make products was we were using technologies from other companies and we were effectively building the product around that. We made these beautiful products, but they were constrained by what was available. One of the most — if not the most — profound change at Apple over the last 20 years is how we now do so many of the technologies in-house. Top of the list, of course, is our silicon." (CNBC || 2023)

Apple CEO Tim Cook just announced earth-shattering news to the world in the Oval Office. Not only are they adding a $100 billion investment in American manufacturing, bringing their total commitment to $600 billion over the next four years, but they are also already making big moves to bring manufacturing back to America ASAP. "For the first time ever every single new iPhone and every single new Apple Watch sold anywhere in the world will contain cover glass made in Kentucky." "I'm proud to say that Apple is leading the creation of an end-to-end silicon supply chain right here in America, from design to equipment to wafer production to fabrication to packaging." This is unprecedented. American Made is BACK!!!

This was former President Uhuru Kenyatta, in an interview with Hussein Mohammed, claiming that he was only borrowing in order to develop the country. In those ten years, he borrowed about 8 trillion. Are there projects from those ten years that were worth that money? These people think we are still in the 1980s and that they can play with our minds.

Travis Kalanick says all his employees' families thought they were in the CIA while the company was in stealth "We went stealth on this company eight years ago." "I had a whole strategy, like a deck that I would teach with my leadership team, and we called it "be uniconic," and we worked our asses off to be unknown." "So up until a few months ago, I had thousands of employees. Not a single one of them was listed on LinkedIn." "Think about that. How f*cking crazy is that? That is one of the weirdest things of all time." "All my employees' families thought they were in the CIA." "But what happened was, at the end of my time at Uber, the world was getting weird, business became politics, and you were starting to make decisions based on what the New York Times was going to say tomorrow. And I just wanted to wake up in the morning and build."

Looking back at Avengers’ prime, I realize how rare that era really was There was a time when the Marvel logo alone could make an entire theater erupt. Every Avengers reunion, every character reveal, every post-credit scene felt like an event. We didn’t just watch the movies - we waited for them, theorized about them, talked about them endlessly, and somehow grew up alongside these characters They weren’t just superheroes. They became a part of our youth And maybe what made that era so special wasn’t that every movie was perfect. It was the feeling We were there. We watched it all unfold. And I don’t think we’ll ever experience a movie era quite like that again

Ulaganayagan #Kamalhaasan about Superstar #Rajinikanth : • They say it is a 50yr old friendship. At that time, he became an equal star to me in just one or two years. He was acting in small bit roles, and within two years, we were equals.. • At that time, we decided to stop acting together while on a flight. Then we talked about doing a film together, with one of us producing it. But then, 40 years just went by.. • Three years back, we spoke about the same idea again. Then we kept searching until we got a story. Now, we are doing two films together..🔥

The strategy Spotify used to beat Apple: “We bet on three things. They were all counter positions to Apple deliberately. 1. Freemium. We believed that if Apple ever did a free product they would struggle to do advertising. We bet they wouldn't do a good free tier. And so we focused a lot on freemium and a really good free tier. 2. Personalization. I would almost say Apple was against data at the time. We bet that they would never get good at personalization recommendations. And we believed that was the future. 3. Ubiquity. We bet that they were going to prefer their own products and never get to be good on a Samsung TV or an Android phone. So these were our bets and they panned out really well.”

Steve Jobs in 1996 — shortly before returning to Apple. "Apple was a company that was based on innovation. When I left Apple ten years ago, we were ten years ahead of anybody else. The problem was that Apple stood still. Even though it invested cumulatively billions in R&D, the output has not been there and people have caught up with it and its differentiation has eroded. I still think Apple has a future. There's some awfully good people there and there's a tremendous brand loyalty to that company. The way out is not to slash and burn — it's to innovate. That's how Apple got to its glory and I think that's how Apple could return to it."

Rich Paul explains the decline in basketball shoe sales “There's a lot of signature guys. There’s so many signature athletes. Every company has a signature guy—multiple signature guys. Well, there ain't that many kids that want signatures from. They don't want signatures. I don't know if [players] are less popular, but the kids are less into all the things that we were into as it pertained to a player... We love to relive our teenage years, where things were what we thought was the hypest. Where we were so excited. The "wow factor." These kids today are actually in their teenage years; they can't relive. We can't force nostalgia on these kids that are actually living in their moment. These kids don’t care about the new nothing. They care about what they think is cool.” (Via Game Over)

I made this #Bitcoin video 10 years ago today. Back then some were shamed if they had paid the "high price" of $700. Others were paralyzed because they could no get over the fact that some had only paid double digits per #BTC a few years earlier. Lack of long-term thinking!
