A bit late but yesterday was The original series finale of Dexter's Lab "Last but not Beast" Nice conclusion to the first 4 seasons of the show, going out was a "Big Bang" even before a lot of shows even do that in media, one thing I did like was the scenes where he was at Japan.

This is the 1st episode of Dragon Ball I ever saw. Vegeta was the first character I ever connected with. After watching all previous episodes leading up to this point, it made this moment even sweeter and meaningful to me. This is what made me a lifelong Dragon Ball fan.

Watching this guy at Katz’s slice a giant slab of pastrami is one of those reminders that some foods become legendary for a reason. The way he’s casually tossing slices around while he works is pure New York deli chaos, and somehow it just adds to the experience. I can’t help but wonder how many millions of sandwiches have been made on that counter over the years. That pastrami looks absolutely unreal. Have you ever been to Katz’s, or is there another deli you think does it even better?

Jaylen Brown says he didn’t like that the Boston Celtics didn’t tell him why he was being traded. “I wasn’t thrilled with how the conversation was facilitated. I did feel like it was a lack of respect. At one point it was fine, and then out of nowhere it just went left. I definitely think there’s more to it. There definitely is more to it. I know Brad is getting a lot of criticism, but I just wish more of it could have been explained. I just wish they had the respect to tell me exactly what it was, and I would have understood and respected that… Some of the guys have already reached out from the Celtics, some of the young guys, so I appreciate them… The guys I was able to build with, those guys who reached out to me, all told me, ‘It was a pleasure to play with you, and I appreciate everything that you helped me with,’ so that’s the stuff that gives you more motivation to keep going.”

Watching the final scene of ‘All Dogs Go to Heaven’ makes me even more emotional knowing that she & her mother became victims in the hands of her father before the film was released. Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cut”. He explains… “That’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, “please tell me you got that.” Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, “you good?” He said, “you good?” I said, “Yeah…” Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. And then he just went into a whole other zone with the whole King Kong thing- with Pelican Bay - Denzel started that. That was Denzel. That was him, man. He just kind of lit up, and I think I forgot to yell cut. I was just watching it, because everybody started walking away, and I'm just watching him, and then he lights a cigarette - and he's talking - and I'm just watching him. I think at some point he probably looked at me like, you going to cut? And I'm like, “oh yeah, yeah, cut.” He was still in it. That's the thing with Denzel. Right before that section that you had brought up, Tom, he talked all about how the United Kingdom and the United States need to reinforce their alliance and that they will ‘continue to defend our shared values with partners in Europe and the Commonwealth across the world’ and that they ‘ignore the clarion calls to become ever more inward looking,’ which, of course, has been a degree of criticism for the Trump administration at different points. The other thing I think is very interesting thing to point out, which you may not realize if you were watching at home, I had the prepared remarks in front of me, that the king did not at any point stray even a syllable away from the remarks that he had prepared to deliver hear in this chamber. A very research-much different approach from Donald Trump or any other president. Bill Clinton was known to stray from his script from time to time to drive home a point. Even when he was interrupted by applause or laughter, he would go immediately back to where he was in his prepared remarks. Just kind of an indication of the type of public speaker he is and the type of public figure he is that he had a very specific plan in mind, a very specific message that he wanted to send, and he did not deviate from that goal even little bit over the course of this speech.”
