Yeah, but since all the props are are props that actuate mechanical latches - something the geochache player would know - how they are inserted really doesn't matter.

If you ask my kids, that's not a floppy disk. It's a save icon.

Back when the PS/2 was being introduced I observed some IBM suits do the same thing. They used quite a bit of force to get disk into one of the few systems on display, and it got stuck. Don't know if it ever was dislodged.

It always bothered me that the micros were still called floppy, they had a hard casing, unlike the actual floppies, I will die on that hill.😉
