This scene feels even more tragic now going into a far darker and bloodier season. This was Viserys' final desperate attempt to reunite his family and preserve peace, and in that moment, he genuinely believed he had succeeded. Yes, he shares part of the blame for the Dance… but what makes this heartbreaking is how he is completely convinced that everything is finally held together, right before it all inevitably falls apart. Paddy Considine sold this scene perfectly, and it's IMO one of the most beautiful and wholesome moments in the entire GOT universe.

the amount of raw emotion that is displayed in this performance and in this crowd plus the amount of pure unfiltered emotions i go through each time i watch it is such a huge testament to how, after 13 years of performing together, twenty one pilots is better than ever. their songwriting, showmanship, and genuine ability to include their fans in every second of their shows is something to be studied by upcoming artists. (also, it makes me so excited about the future of their music)

Not only that, also my teacher. I try to study scripture each day and learn more about Jesus every day and kind of model my life after him. My performance in the game or whatever's happening isn't my identity. Rather, as a disciple of Jesus. That's the foundation of my life and it kind of makes me who I am." That one sentence deserves to sit for a moment. My performance in the game is not my identity. That is one of the hardest things for any athlete to actually believe. The entire sports world is built around performance. Your value is your numbers. Your worth is your contract. Your identity is your stats. And Tommy Edman looked at all of that and said: none of that is who I am. He is a disciple of Jesus. That is his identity. The baseball is just what he does. He also said something that reveals how he maintains that foundation. He studies scripture every day. Not weekly. Not when he feels like it. Every day. And he is actively trying to learn more about Jesus and model his life after Him. That is discipleship. That is not a Sunday morning posture. That is a daily practice of sitting at the feet of the teacher and asking to become more like Him. i just hope tian is okay right now. with all the false accusations and everything that’s been happening, i can’t even imagine what he must be going through. it honestly breaks my heart thinking about how overwhelming and hurtful this situation must be for him. i really hope he knows that so many of us truly don’t care about his past relationships at all. he is a grown adult and his personal life is his own. what matters to us is the person he is, the work he does, and the happiness he brings to so many people. and the truth is that tian has already shown multiple times that these accusations are false. even a lawyer pointed out that what he posted was not just a simple lawyer’s letter but a case notice stating malicious fabrication. in the entertainment industry most celebrities usually sue for defamation of reputation, but accusing someone of malicious fabrication is much more serious. yet even with official statements and legal action, some people still choose to ignore it and keep spreading rumors as if random posts online were more believable than documents with an official seal. that’s why this situation feels so frustrating and unfair. no matter what proof is shown, some people will still try to twist the narrative. but there are also many of us who see what is really happening and refuse to believe these rumors. more than anything, i just hope he is surrounded by people who support him and that he’s taking care of himself. i hope he knows there are still so many people sending him love and standing by him. at the end of the day we love him for who he is, not for some perfect image people try to force on him. he deserves peace and support, especially during a moment like this. 🤍

Jeremy Clarkson is truly a one of a kind in the field. He’s one of the rare presenters that values and reviews cars emotionally, he taught us to see the soul in cars, in part of passion the engineers and builders give to the machine. while it most of the time makes a terrible buying guide, he tells you how the car made him feel. And that’s what it matters. No matter how stupid a car is on paper, all it matters is that it gives you a smile. This made his reviews much more fun to listen to without being overly nerdy. Most reviewers fall into this weird place where they talk way too much about numbers and technical terms, and most of the time just a speaking brochure. And he believes that cars are living entities because there’s so much chaotic variable that could go wrong, hence his attachments to Alfa Romeos.

Nashville, Dark Horse Studio the first thing that comes to me while watching this back is “wow, by the time we got to Nashville i was so much more confident and just in my body and myself about everything” it felt like the adults arrived and things started to get romantic and deep. and honestly i hope Brian says that exact speech at my wedding someday. anyway i’m sure you know of him but that beautiful angel playing the mandolin’s name is Chris Thile first of all. Truly one of the greatest musicians i’ve ever been in the presence of but possibly more important than that, the kindest man i’ve ever crossed paths with. His song “Julep” kinda became our anthem and guiding light. So to have him be a part of this album was just beyond special

This part of The Neverending Story is more devastating as a metaphor for 2025 then it ever was when I was a kid. Atreyu tries to tell his horse Artax how the swamps are. That the sadness isn't real. That he's letting it get to him. Atreyu begs Artax to get out of it, if not for himself then his friend — to no avail. Time passes. Finally Atreyu looks up and Artax is gone. He gave in to the illusion. Atreyu did everything he could think of, he begged, he cried, he screamed, but in the end he couldn't save his friend because he refused to save himself. This is one of the hardest lessons to learn in life. Ever.

And yet the Sonny and Tom Hagen argument, with Michael quietly watching from the corner, might be one of the best scenes in the entire Godfather. In just a few minutes, it shows three completely different versions of Corleone leadership sitting in the same room. Sonny is all fire. He wants revenge immediately, and every line out of his mouth already sounds halfway to war. Funny, childish, loyal, furious, impulsive, dangerous - all at once. James Caan gives you the entire character in a single scene: the love, the rage, the ego, the total inability to slow down. Tom is the opposite. Calm, controlled, almost painfully rational. Sonny insults him, pushes him, cranks up the temperature of the room, and Tom never breaks. He doesn't need to raise his voice because he understands the situation better than anyone in it. War is exactly what their enemies are hoping for. That's why Sonny's silence after Tom scolds him actually matters. He doesn't fire back. He might explode at everyone else in his life, but not at Tom. Blood or not, Tom is family. And then there's Michael. He barely says a word, and the scene still works because of him.
