Watching Maps.

This is one of my favorites. I'm lucky enough to have a cel and some of the manga from it.

It feels like this was doing modern hack n slash souls gacha bosses 30 smtg years prior. I didn't know they had an OVA. I am not too fond of the round character design (art style)

アニメ版の「マップス」だね。 原作者の長谷川裕一の大ファンだよ

crazy times back then, even uninvolved Tokyo gets destroyed. heh...

There was a '87 MAPS OVA too - it and other OVAs were featured in an "infamous" English trailer reel from the distributor Gaga Communications in '88, trying to sell these to the American market, complete with some...odd "new" English titles for some.

What is this?

never heard of this. is it called Maps?
