Watching my first MLB victory brings back so many great memories!

@MLB You were incredible. Became a helluva Outfielder as well....Only you, Joe Wood, Montgomery and Ruth in 150 years of MLB History can say they were successful as Pitchers and Hitters,Only You,Ruth,Ohtani have won 10 games and hit 20 homers....ELITE damn company

@TheDurbinator37 @MLB I faced you in Memphis in ‘98. I was in OKC. One of the few times in my life that I did not have a chance in the batters box.

@MLB The fact you didn’t give up on being big leaguer when others would have is inspiring. Your 12 to 6 curveball was sick btw

@MLB Love the high socks!!! I remember your 1st start. Electric!!! My wife bought me the Cardinals socks and I wore them often coaching my son’s Little league team.

@kyler416 @MLB You had one of the nastiest curves around, but what I’ll remember most is your two throws in Colorado. Nothing tops those.

@MLB Saw you at Team One nationals against one of my guys, Matt Riley, and it was one of the best matchups I’ve ever seen. You want three great innings. I believe it was blue Ash, Kentucky.

@MLB Crazy seeing this but also remembering you hit a home run as an outfielder in the 2010 NLDS.

@MLB One of my favorite players to watch growing up. Won’t admit to shedding some tears of joy when you made it back to the bigs as a position player. You’re truly an inspiration!

@MLB I was at this game with my dad and brother and uncle. Great times

@buckswope @MLB I know you won’t remember this but my wife and I sat with you a plane to Florida. You were so nice and we talked baseball most of the flight. I asked a lot of questions b/c I’m a huge baseball fan and you couldn’t have been nicer. Thank you!!

@MLB Your ability was something special.. and to be able to pull off the switch to being an amazing outfielder... you Sir, will always have my respect. I got to watch you conquer the diamond on both sides. Great memories for more people than you know.

@MLB Cardinal nation still loves them some Rick

@MLB my all-time Rick Ankiel gripe is that you did flip from No. 49 to No. 94 when you made the switch. Would have been so perfect.

@MLB Rick Ankiel was just so easy to root for.

@JohnDenton555 @MLB Watched that game with my dad. Great memory! Amazing curve ball! #stlcards

@kyler416 @MLB One of the best, also when you came back and played the outfield and hit was amazing. One of the best

@kyler416 @MLB STUD💪🏻

@MLB Like our Thoroughbreds, you knew you were looking at not just a specialist at pitching, but a true all around athlete.

@JohnDenton555 @MLB Wore #66 in high school because of you! Thanks for the memories!

@CodifyBaseball @MLB I remember that day and where I was!

@MLB Watching you the week before against the Padres was one of my favorite Busch Stadium memories (no decision but impressive 7IP, 3H, 2R, 9K, 4BB
