Ur right I had watched it on tv 📺 in my childhood And I have never watched it again

peak trauma

This scene is an Oscar winning scene … Brilliant Movie and It’s my favourite after Rajesh Khanna “Anand “. Have watched the movie twice but now if you ask me to watch , don’t have the courage .

sri devi was good but kamal hasan stole the entire show , what an actor 🙏

Mahanadhi is more unsettling and traumatizing

will watch

SadMa dekh ke dimag ko khatarnaak Sadma lagega Climax 💔😢

3 din tak traumatized thaa

I watched it in Tamil (original version), never watched it again. Same with Aashiqui 2, haven't watched again.. Too painful

aashiqui 2 is not even 1% of sadma.

I actually had tears

us . never dared to watch it again

@preetamhegde Hence rightly named Sadma 🥲

Yes...big fan of Sri...but never hated her more in this scene.,.Wanted to hold her shoulders and shake her so hard....

Watch Kannada Manasa Sarovara from 1982 ; similar theme; good songs; tragic ending.

This film was made twice first in Tamil and then in Hindi with same brilliance in a gap of a year or two. It's an unbelievable achievement by the Director and the leads which cannot be achieved in today's era.

Fact is that he has not been awarded “Dadhasaheb Phalke” award!!! What an insult to the award !!! @ikamalhaasan

I'm still traumatized, didn't get courage to watch it again despite sridevi is my favorite, out of the world acting by kamal hasan and most beautiful songs, it haunts me till date.

Two legendary artists - Kamal and Sridevi and that music in the Tamil version ❤️

but imo , kamal hasan ate

The movie is genuinely traumatic, but this scene- him smashing himself into the pole, limping, and then rolling around- looks painfully fake, by today’s standards. Bad acting, bad editing, or both.

Sadma is one proof, sad endings make legendary tales that haunt us for a lifetime.

U uploaded exact the scene which I never wanted to see.

i am so sorry bhai 😭🙏

I swear! It left me traumatized for life.

Absolutely true, and here I thought it was just me who couldn’t get my self to watch it again!!!! The trauma in the end…. It’s like an art but I just can’t revisit it!!!

Watch manasa sarovara by puutanna kanagal ... all these are cheap copies of that movie .. he is the real GOAT

These movies are so brutal that they should have adult rating. Not because they have sexual content but these movies are not meant for kids. There are so many movies like this but this movie made a lot of negative impact on me in childhood. I hate this movie till this date.

I didn't watch it at all juz by listening to the plot coz I'm too much emotional tat I casually carry traumatizing stories for births in mind🤣So this one I nvr gonna watch ever

It's typical overacted drama from south indian films.. It's too much

Yes, ur so right, watched in childhood, liked it so much, even now recommend people to watch. But, I don't want to watch it, so strange but true 😔

Ek duje ke liye , sadma and pushpak are the three breakaway films that worked pan india. The stories go beyond any language. Tbh i am suprised no one has taken a fresh crack at Pushpak as yet.

is it available in hindi?

no idea bhai , ek baar check karlo

@Rajoobhau

I watched it during my Childhood when it was aired on DD. Kamal Haasan's acting compels viewers to pass through immense pain and sorrow. 💔😓 I thought this movie has won numerous accolades and prestige .

Climax scene of movie "Sairat" has similar hard hitting impact. I can't watch it again.

The original background itself is so good. Why edit?

True..🥺😟 I couldn't dare to watch this movie again..😶🌫️

clip tho badiya hai pathani background score jo use Kiya woh tho perfect sync with kamal hassan leg limping act 😋

Sadma is my favorite movie

Couldn't agree more
