I never imagined that one day I would be this close to the Kaaba 🕋 able to touch it without any interruptions, Alhamdulillah It was truly an amazing and humbling experience. I thank Allah for His countless blessings and ask Him to make me among those who are always grateful, repentant and obedient. Standing there, I reflected on where I came from and the many du’as I made over the years, asking Allah to allow me to be part of moments like this. Never did I imagine that I would one day witness the Kiswah replacement ceremony and be so close to the Kaaba. It was a powerful reminder that Allah can open doors and grant blessings in ways we never expect. Alhamdulillah for this tremendous bounty, and may Allah keep us steadfast and grateful. 🤲🏽🕋 #الكعبة_المشرفة

Every time I read or hear this Surah, my heart breaks. 💔💔🥺🥺🥺 It reminds me of Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam. We were told this was the Surah he was reciting during Fajr prayer when Boko Haram stormed the mosque and brutally killed him. He was murdered in the house of Allah, while standing before his Lord in prayer. This pain never fades. May Allah have mercy on him and grant him the highest place in Jannah.

I was in Katsina State to pay a condolence visit to His Excellency, the Governor, over the passing of our former President, Muhammadu Buhari — a son of the soil whose legacy shaped the course of our nation. In moments like this, we are reminded that leaders carry not just the weight of office, but the collective grief and hopes of their people. Governor Dikko Umar Radda received us with humility and strength — embodying the spirit of Katsina and the resilience of its people. May Allah forgive Baba Buhari’s shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. Ameen. May Katsina remain united in prayer, in strength, and in purpose.

May Allah reward the luminous faces of my dearly beloved Muslims in the Maldives! Though oceans and vast distances lie between them and #Gaza, and though they themselves may be weathering their own trials, they have illuminated the heart of this Ummah with a compassion that transcends borders, tongues, and lands. Yesterday’s iftar at the Oasis was a moment my heart will never forget. Surrounded by my children, my siblings, their spouses, and our beautiful little ones, the evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and gratitude. There was plenty of food for everyone, even the amazing staff who helped make the moment smooth and joyful. Watching these children grow, seeing how far they have come and how beautifully they are becoming, humbles me deeply. Moments like this remind me that true wealth is found in family, love, and shared blessings. My husband stood by me in support, and I took my time serving the children their meals. It may seem simple, but to me it is one of the most fulfilling roles in the world. This is what mothers do, and I enjoyed every second of it. My heart is full, and my gratitude to Allah is endless. May Allah continue to bless our families, protect our children, and fill our homes with love, barakah, and unity. Ameen.

Innalillahi wa Inna ilaihi rajiun.😭 Today, one of my students from Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri, impressed me with his confidence during a presentation. His classmates were cheering him on, unaware that he had only an hour left to live. On leaving the school, he was hit and killed by a car. Life is indeed unpredictable; death is inevitable. May Almighty Allah forgive him and grant him Al-Jannah Firdausi. Ameen. I don't know that they are videoing me.

I say it as often as I can, that 1 of my wishes when I die is to have a well attended Janazah, and to witness this level of attendance within 4 hours of announcing his death, in Ramadan makes me full of gratitude. As he is honoured in death, I pray Allah make him of His honored and favored servants, grant him a rank with the righteous in Jannah 🙏🏽. Ya Allah, have mercy on Yusuf Kunle Sulyman, forgive him, wash him off his sins, elevate him, make his barzakh a beautiful abode and reunite us all in Jannah Firdaus. Painful, irreplaceable loss, but we are full of gratitude for a life well lived. May Allah forgive him for his shortcomings and for that which we don’t know of his shortcomings. Ameen 🙏🏽.

It is famously known as the masjid where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ observed his last two Eid prayers before his passing (Eid Fitr and Eid Aldha) The name “ Majid Al-Ghamāmah” means “the mosque of the cloud,” one day when the messenger of Allah was praying here, cloud once shaded him from hot son in this area, hence why it’s named the Masjid of the cloud.
