In my Final Year Project, 500 Level Petroleum Engineering, I designed & fabricated a 3-Phases Oil/Water/Gas Separator. The project was executed together with a friend, Abdul Basit (engine boy). As at 2008/2009, it cost us over ₦200,000 to complete the project, which is still being used as a teaching aid.

VIDEO | Bengaluru: On the Mekedatu project, Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar says, "Mekedatu is not just close to my heart, it is important for the whole of South India... We are committed to releasing the 177.25 TMC (thousand million cubic) of water mandated by the Supreme Court and will continue to honour that commitment. It is a balancing reservoir project aimed at ensuring water security. Not even a single TMC of water from this project can be used for irrigation. Its primary purpose is to provide drinking water, especially for Bengaluru, whose population is growing rapidly. We cannot bring water from the Krishna river; the Cauvery is our only source. With a balancing reservoir in place, we can store and manage water more effectively..."

After coming under severe criticism for not lifting water from Kaleshwaram Project, and delayed lifting of water from Devadula and Sitarama Project, the Revanth Reddy government has finally woken up from deep slumber. 34 Months after KCR Government did a test run at Palamoor - Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Project, the Congress Government has once again done a test run at the Narlapur Pump House today. Palamoor - Ranga Reddy Project has a capacity to supply water to 10 Lakh acres of land in erstwhile Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts. KCR Government had completed 90% of the project work. And Revanth Reddy Government, in its typical vendetta style governance, is refusing to complete the project and give water to the parched lands of Telangana. Revanth Reddy will go down as the worst CM in the history of this country!

"Governor, get an experienced operator, otherwise you are going to run this down." These were the words by Eng. Eric Mugaa, the water CS when he was invited to Homa Bay by the governor to inspect the Oyugis Water project. The person in charge of the project was totally clueless. Corruption and nepotism is finishing the county of endless potential. Clueless sycophants who can't walk and chew gum at the same time are so many in the county. In Homa Bay county, level of education, experience, and expertise are not necessary for such jobs. As long as you can shout your lungs out and say, "ng'atma ochayo Odiso ok nyon Homa Bay, mano wakweri." Tragic!!!

The Seaside Sprout by Digital 3D Artist Travis Sindewald is a personal project inspired by the background images that usually accompany LoFi streams. The project used an Unreal Engine water plugin to help complete the calming coastal elements. "I set out to build a place that feels cozy and quiet, like something you’d see in a LoFi stream. At the same time, I challenged myself to blend a more painterly style with realistic lighting and materials. I mainly used Blender and Substance Designer while the water is using Unreal Engine 5 water plugin." - Travis Sindewald

#WATCH | Tamil Nadu: Farmers, led by farmers' association leader Ayya Kannu, staged a protest by burying themselves in sand of the banks of Cauvery River in Tiruchirappalli demanding the immediate release of Cauvery water for irrigation. The protesters alleged that despite repeated appeals for water to save the Kuruvai crop, Karnataka has not released Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. They condemned the Karnataka government, accusing it of treating Tamil Nadu as a "drainage state" by releasing only excess water instead of providing the state's rightful share. The farmers also reiterated their opposition to the proposed Mekedatu dam project, stating that it would further affect Tamil Nadu's water availability.
