Water is powerful, however not all of the video clips are from the flooding Pacific WA. Many appear to be flood clips in Asia.

Even with a life jacket, escaping the pool at the bottom of a waterfall just 1M high can be extremely difficult. This happens because of the powerful recirculating current that forms when water drops and folds back on itself.

This is the largest engine for a ship a sea and cost about $25 Million. A massive engineering effort went into the installation.

With all the rain on the west coast, California's water reservoirs should be full and and ready to supply water to fight fires. I suspect that is not the case and California just let the rain water flow into the ocean.

The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) is a non-consumptive water projects, that generates electricity by passing water through turbines, allowing most of it to continue downstream. Unlike consumptive uses such as irrigation that divert and deplete water, GERD doesn’t block Nile from flowing to downstream countries.

The train scene where SRK buys a glass of water from a kid is powerful. Even without a single dialogue in the scene, it's one of the best scene ever. ❤️

🇺🇸 Trump celebrated the Lincoln Reflecting Pool renovation and accidentally said "clean, beautiful Coal" instead of water. AI energy policy muscle memory. The pool cost about $1.5M and reopens before July 4. Even a water ribbon-cutting isn’t safe.

Swept away by the raging Kern River, a woman is found clinging to the underside of a cliff. Newly released aerial footage captures the dramatic rescue after the woman was carried downstream by the fast-moving current in California. Rescuers spotted her partially submerged, hanging on beneath a rock, before pulling off a life-saving rescue. Officials warn the Kern River is extremely dangerous, with powerful currents, icy water, and hidden hazards that can overwhelm even experienced swimmers.

Shane Stevens is a professional master thatcher who produces old-world thatched roofs made of water reed or straw. It is a wonder how these roofs last for years considering the fire hazard they present. Do you like the style of these roofs?

Water is beginning to hit the bridge on Maple Island Road in Hesperia, and the dam just upstream is at risk of failing due to high water levels. A flash flood watch remains in effect for downstream areas of the White River.
