Yeah....this is BS. I work with Water Jets that shoot 9700 PSI and there is nothing but water in those systems. Intesifiers, high pressure pipes, and robots guiding the water is all it takes.

abrasive waterjet cutting is real and it absolutely cooks through steel but the way people always think its magic instead of just pressure and grit is so funny

Я видел как сжатым воздухом режут трубы нефтепровода. Причем этт было в начале 80х в Западной Сибири.

This is a dangerous video Do not put your finger over high psi water. Water will absolutely cut your finger off under enough pressure Scientifically there is 1 thing on this earth that can cut anything else on this earth. Water.

Wait, my whole life has been a lie—is it actually the garnet abrasive doing all the heavy lifting while the water just plays the hype man?

Yes, Wind did it.

It's your mom who cuts the steel

So extremely polluting in other words?

Wonder if cartel use that method? 🤔

Nah, it's the water

That's amazing

It is the pressure. The garnet assists when cutting metal. I’ve worked with 50,000psi water jets, and even though we only cut carpet, and felt for the automotive industry, the straight water eventually cuts through the steel holding the forms together. I’ve had to weld them up.

Very interesting video

What’s interesting is that synthetic garnets can be made which cost the same as diamonds to produce and create.

Video of your finger pressure is so low it starts dropping within a few inches. Very misleading

If water can cut through steel, what is able to stop it?

Máquina ultrapassada, já trabalhei com cortes em chapas de aço

Unbelievable!!! Wow

Garnit cuts it
