I saw one guy say he saved his house with a simple lawn sprinkler on the roof. 🤷‍♀️

I did this to my house and plants when there was a fire on my island. I was relieved because later the hot ashes started landing on my roof.

Why has the LA news stopped showing the fire??? Palisades fire is 18% contained but they aren't showing any flames. Helicopter shot showed black mountain area. No fire.

Soffit , Roof and crawl space vents should be duck taped shut .. Embers get sucked in the attic and crawl space which usually causes the home to burn . Stucco and shingles not so much .. BTW a lot of blown in cellulose insulation is nothing more than shredded newspaper with borax added to it or fire resistance and some of these insulations are better than others .

I feel bad for the homeowner. His effort to save his house will be done in vain. The intense heat will evaporate the watered down house quickly before it catches on fire.

Yeah that little bit of water won’t do anything against the hart of the fire. If it passes by I can se it helping .
