This woman was denied entry into a restaurant because they claimed to be full yet others were walking in. After she caught them letting others in she was told it would be a $5 fee. But the other people weren’t charged the same fee. The restaurant was having a World Cup event and was charging a $5 fee for people to enter. The people she saw walking in was part of another group that already paid. However she didn’t know that and there was no way for her to know that, so she drew her own conclusions on why she wasn’t allowed in. Just like in my last post, it would avoid so much confusion and drama if these establishments just posted a simple sign, otherwise it can be easy to jump to a wrong conclusion as to why people can’t get in but others can. There was a time I had tried to get into my local pool and the same thing happened. I wasn’t allowed in and others were walking in no problems at all. I sat there and wondered why, it’s not like they showed ID, there didn’t seem to be a list of names or anything and this place goes by membership which I have a membership for. So what other reason could it be to deny me? The pool also has a gym and a banquet room where people can reserve for events for a fee. Normally they have signage as for the event and who it was for but this day I didn’t see anything indicating any event would be taking place. I did end up leaving. The following week I went to work out and I did speak to a manager to see what the happened. It turned out the pool area was closed due to an accident. Someone slipped and fell, so that’s why I wasn’t allowed into the pool area. Others were walking in to use the other facilities that the location offers. So it was a reasonable reason but all it took was for someone to give an explanation and it could have saved much headache. I feel when an establishment is in business for the public that they owe us an explanation otherwise it turns into a huge headache for them.

Then importation delayeddddddd…URA and the whole process held my goods for 16 weeks, 4 months for something that used to take 6 weeks! In the 4 months, loan repayments started. No cash flow. Rent was running. Stock stuck in a bond in Namanve. Then taxes came out… more than half the cost of the stock I had imported. I sat in my car and cried for 20 minutes and asked myself Naye nfaki ? Why don’t I just stick to my 9-5 and leave this madness!! But then I looked at the people I employ, I picked myself up and somehow found the money within hours paid URA their money. I almost quit. I won’t lie. But I reminded myself, it’s me. I don’t have the luxury of giving up. So I reset. Rethought everything. Told myself if I fail, it won’t be because I didn’t fight. There wasn’t a single bruise on his face, nor any marks on his knuckles. The ME didn’t indicate that John’s injuries were consistent with a physical fight. In fact, what was clearly shown is that the tiny cut was at the exact height of the rear fin of the Lexus, perfectly aligning with John’s eye level. 2) The laceration on his nose was caused by the tiny shard of glass YOUR CLIENT said she pulled out, which would have come from either the cocktail glass he was holding or the broken taillight found at the scene. 3) Then there’s the injury to the back of his head. Again, the ME stated it could easily have resulted from falling onto an uneven, frozen surface. Lastly AJ, why do you stutter and hesitate when you claim the garage is now in the “same general location where John was last seen going into the house?” Before the first trial, you insisted John was led down to the basement and that Colin was the likely perpetrator. Were you forced to change your version of the story when confronted with the data from John’s iPhone battery temperature? Your client claimed she saw him enter the house, specifying it was through the side breezeway door. You do realize there’s absolutely no connection from the inside of the house to the garage, right? So now your ridiculous tale suggests that this was a meticulously planned attack orchestrated by none other than Brian, Brian, and Chloe the dog, all lying in wait in a dark, freezing garage like some sort of cartoonish villain squad? Authoritative server based in Singapore, me in Australia with 19ms ping & our QA ( test #3236 on screen) with 300ms ping in Europe. Just sharing this as a quick example of the results we have experienced in QA regarding the interpolation smoothness we mentioned in our latest article. To experience this kind of smooth responsiveness when I am connecting in Australia, to a server in Singapore playing with someone in Europe, is pretty cool. These are the type of results we've experienced in QA & hopefully most testers have a similar experience, but that is the whole reason of the Pre-Alpha state, to test different PC & network environments, and then identify any issues, fix & improve. We are going to test different server locations, starting with Singapore, and it would be useful to see how say a group of testers from Europe experience multiplayer on the Singapore server, a group between America and Europe, a group based only in Asian / Oceania. Remember, this specific multiplayer system we are testing now is for the open world of #E2V1 & will mainly be for interactive experiences that will not always require fast responsiveness meaning people from different locations around the world can interact without too much risk of losing out on something if they have a slightly higher ping. For experiences that involve PvP & even some Co-op PvE type experiences, we will run dedicated services for the specific group of Players participating, with options to select regional location, as those experiences will obviously require lower ping, more responsiveness and so forth. This has been covered briefly in the past but just reminding people again who may have missed that or forgotten. Final reminder, if someone has a really bad internet connection & high ping they will glitch - we can't control how good someone's internet connection is.
