Waymo’d around SF today. Feels weird/interesting at first, then you immediately don’t notice it and it feels completely normal.

@bgold I felt 98% comfortable. Feels ready for prime time to me, though I’m sure there are edge cases I haven’t seen + the whole regulatory issue

@bgold this is all going to feel so much less weird when there's no steering wheel and the car is designed for pax only. (rather than accommodating for a ghost driver too.)

@bgold I have never understood the need for a driverless car, I think Sci-Fi movies told us we needed this?
