Honestly is that it ? These players admittedly not Rooney’s, were at the start of the season playing as a team, that whilst inconsistent at least did its best, probably over performing, Eustace man managed them and was never seen slagging anyone off to the degree that Rooney does. Eustace’s enthusiasm for the club team and goals was there to be seen. He told home truths to the new owners and they didn’t want to hear it. They are ambitious , everything else Wagner and his team has done has been remarkable, ground, facilities, changes, training grounds brilliant but why oh why did they pick a manager who clearly has no idea how to motivate and get players to perform that are nowhere near superstars. Likely now he won’t have the chance to get his own players in but that’s down to Wayne and their only being his way, well it now needs to be the highway for Rooney. Who on earth is going to trust him to pick any new players under this pressure ?

Read the room... whether he believes he's a fighter or not. The fans aren't with him, we don't want him here. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but he's not likeable, or approachable. He doesn't fit Birmingham City and who we are.
