Here is a quick 1 minute clip from "The Masters of Trading" Dan Zanger interview back in 2005. Dan highlights some very important points which still hold true today and even more so in this current 2025 market. - Not to be in the market all the time - Less trading - Limit exposure ( 3 - 4 positions max) - Stalk the market and let it set up - Anticipate 2 - 3 big trend moves per year. ( 8 - 12 weeks per move ) - Let it set up all over again. Trade less! A big part of my strategy is concentrated positions and to hit these positions when the deck is stacked in my favor. TJR flipped bullish and decided to go long. I wanted to long this, and I took the trade. Once price invalidated the gap, it looked like confirmation that NASDAQ could continue higher. That was enough for me to enter, and the move worked out. We’re now up over $5K in profit. Yesterday everyone was celebrating the win. Today another winning trade, and the support is still there. Just remember always manage your own risk and never go all in based on someone else’s trade.
