As a dual citizen (U.S. & Canada), I fully agree with this. If a dual citizen wants to work in government in any capacity, they should be required to give up their dual status and choose the U.S. as their country permanently.

You can't hold a top secret clearance if you have dual citizenship. It's been that way for YEARS. I applied to my current agency in 2000 and had to renounce my British citizenship before I could be hired. Dad was British; mom American and I was born there, raised here. It's already that way.
