My precious darlings, Tomorrow I have to do one of the hardest things I have ever done. I have to see one of the two people closest to my heart...twenty years old...dead. This is going to be the hardest thing I have faced since my father died. I am not saying who. I will not. They are one of the two I would protect with my life, and I still will. Their name stays with the four of you who already know, and it stays in my chest. I am sorry to be cryptic. I know that can feel unfinished. Unlike a lot of people, I do not put my whole life out there, and I am not about to start now. I am looking at tomorrow with a very certain kind of dread. My heart has been stable. That is the truth I can give you today. But there is no telling how it is going to react when I walk into that room. Julie will be with me. My surgeon is on call. Keep me close in your thoughts. If anything needs to be said after, my twin will update you. I love her so much. She has been wonderful with me through all of this.
