"flash down" "dragon" "nice" that's it. that was the whole conversation. she'd engage and i'd follow. we never talked about it after. i'd die and she'd just keep playing. no reaction. no "unlucky." nothing. we won games and moved on. lost games and moved on. no celebration. no discussion. just queue again. xayah and rakan in the same lane running on autopilot. maybe that's why we didn't last the first time. two people who still moved like one in game. but had nothing to say outside of it. synergy kept us duoing. silence kept us apart. now? she engages and i'm hyping her up before she lands. she giggles when it works. we talk. real talking. not just callouts.
