If we re-do the census & only count US Citizens, it would shift the US House from 20-40 seats in favor of Republicans. Regardless of which party benefits, there’s no way that illegals should be counted in the census. How does someone on the left argue to count illegals?

Democrats have been consistently trying to use illegal aliens as tools to help them with apportionment in the census. Sanctuary cities do exactly that. I’ve been talking about democrats and trying to game the census for a while now.
