I studied Psychology in an American college roughly 4 decades ago. I heard them make the same excuses as today's ones; "Social Environment" should be the biggest factor.

We Conservatives know, even if many sociologists don't, that crime is not a sickness to be cured—it is a temptation to be resisted, a threat to be deterred, and an evil to be punished.

According to the office of minority health In 2022, Black Americans were diagnosed with HIV at eight times the rate of white individuals, chlamydia rates 6.8 times higher and gonorrhea rates 8.8 times higher for Black populations compared to White populations. When you tell people to hold others responsible, I think it’s responsible to make the best choices that you can.
