Trump started a war to force Iran into a humiliating nuclear capitulation, and failed. The memorandum ends the war by giving Iran economic relief, oil sales, frozen assets, and a reconstruction/investment framework, while the core nuclear details are pushed into maybe, possibly, someday, future talks. That is why people are calling it a surrender, and it is.

💥 Iran: no talks until the US pays for everything and leaves the Persian Gulf Adviser to Ayatollah Khamenei, General Mohsen Rezaei, said the conflict won’t be limited to “12 days” and has in fact been going on for decades. “The war will continue until all the damage is fully compensated, all economic sanctions are lifted, and guarantees are provided that the United States will not interfere in Iran’s internal affairs,” he said. According to him, this is not a short-term conflict but a “47-year war” — so the conditions are maximal.
