Great quote by Thomas Sowell: ”They condemn American society or Western civilization for sins that are the curse of the human race all across the planet. Indeed, they condemn the West for sins that are worse in many non-Western societies. Perhaps the classic case is slavery. The widespread revulsion which this hideous institution inspires today was largely confined to Western civilization a century ago, and a century before that was largely confined to a portion of British society. No one seems interested in the epic story of how this curse that covered the globe and endured for thousands of years was finally gotten rid of. It was gotten rid of by the West—not only in Western societies but in other societies conquered, controlled, or pressured by the West. The resistance put up by Africans, Asians, and Arabs was monumental in defense of slavery, and lasted for more than a century. Only the overwhelming military power of the West enabled it to prevail on this issue, and only the moral outrage of Western peoples kept their governments' feet to the fire politically to maintain the pressure against slavery around the world. Of course, this is not the kind of story that appeals to the multiculturalists. If it had been the other way around—if Asian or African imperialists had stamped out slavery in Europe—it would still be celebrated, in story and song, on campuses across America.”

True justice demands that we hold two moral truths at once: 1️⃣ 'Stand for the dignity and rights of the both the Hebrew-Jewish/Arab- Palestinian Peoples.' The catastrophic suffering and loss of civilian life is a humanitarian crisis that demands our collective voice, advocacy, and aid. 2️⃣ 'Fiercely reject the poison of both racism against arabs and or hebrews as a concillar act against anti(shem)itism' Critiquing the actions of any secular nation-state must never curdle into hatred against indigeneous or any ancient ethnic peoples. We cannot fight oppression by embracing ethnic supremacy, bigotry or racism. As responsible citizens, let’s refuse the polarizing all too often reoccurring traps of our era. Protect your neighbors of all faiths, reject ethnic hatred, and demand an immediate end to the bloodshed. 🕊️ #teamhumanity

“Ayaan Hirsi Ali was challenged over her views on Islam and Sharia law… but the debate quickly turned explosive.” Speaker: Ayaan, you've been quoted as saying that if refugees are coming to this part of the world and bringing their misogynistic views on Sharia law, then they'd better just take a legal U-turn. People have said Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Donald Trump are speaking the same language. So how do you feel about being on the same side as Trump? Ayaan Hirsi Ali: I've been doing this for about the last 14 or 15 years, and maybe I'm allowed a sigh. Because number one, I'm amazed at the betrayal of Muslim women who, for whatever reason, have had an education and are able to emancipate themselves from Islamic law, insisting that Islamic law is not what it is and that we don't understand it. We live in the Information Age. We are literate. Any of us here can pick up the Holy Quran and read the Hadith. And beyond that, because we live in this age of interconnectedness, we can take a look at the facts of where Islamic law is implemented, what it looks like for everyone, and typically what it looks like for women. Saudi Arabia is a country that implements Sharia law. Women are not allowed to drive. They have male guardians. Their testimony is worth half of that of men. They are subjected to every possible humiliation that you can think of. Ayatollah Khomeini, in 1979, with a great deal of public approval, became the Supreme Leader. He implemented Sharia law, Islamic law. One of the first things that he did, he reduced the age of marriage to nine. Everywhere where Islamic law is implemented, you have exactly that. Speaker: Who's the "they"? Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Those who are pushing for Sharia law and those who want to implement Sharia law. Speaker: But none of us are, so that's not a matter of debate. Ayaan Hirsi Ali: The Prophet Muhammad took Aisha, one of his wives after Khadijah died, when she was six, and had sex with her when she was nine. That is Sharia law. I do not understand how someone Speaker: But this is not a debate about Sharia law. Ayaan Hirsi Ali: But this is for Sharia law! You want to get rid of child marriage? Get rid of Sharia law. Speaker: Although it embarrasses me on a global stage to say this, child marriage is common in many cultures, including in Hindu societies. Ayaan Hirsi Ali: That's why Can I just get in? Speaker: All right, I just want to bring in Farah and Hibaaq. What you are saying, Ayaan, doesn't really make sense. I'm glad that you have moved from calling for a war on Islam to saying maybe there is a possibility. In 2007, when you had that interview with Reason magazine, you said we have to go to war with Islam. That was shocking for a woman to be advocating for that. Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Can I answer that? Speaker: Let her have a sentence. Hibaaq Osman: For someone who has actually asked for Islam to be defeated militarily, I am really surprised that you are still saying the same things. And now you are backpedaling Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Islamic law. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Islamic law Hibaaq Osman: You cannot come here to talk about reform that does not exist. Speaker: Okay, I'll tell you one thing: none of these women are constrained by their religion. Hibaaq Osman: No, my point is you cannot reform anything if you don't have the credibility. The fact that you said we have to defeat Islam, you surrendered your credibility. Speaker: Okay, let me get my point in. Hibaaq Osman: There's no time. But the point is, those who claim to be able to reform their society have to be in their society.

Matt Gaetz gives The Anchormen a behind-the-scenes look at his removal of Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the election of Brandon Gill while discussing the upcoming midterm elections: SHARP: “You wanna know why you got primaried John Cornyn, this is why you got primaried, because you do stuff like this. You put the voters through things like this. He finally went along with [Blanche’s Confirmation], but MAN he drug us through it, and the rest of them are doing the same thing, and so that’s why just it’s like, we need to just BEAT these people until we have an entire Congress full of Brandon Gills!” GAETZ: “I want you to know how conscious I was of what I was standing in the way of when I moved to vacate Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker. Had Donald Trump been the President at that time, as frustrated as I was with McCarthy, I wouldn’t have done it because you have to know where you are in the wave. If people were gonna criticize me for gumming up the Congress for a few weeks, well at least we were slowing the passage of “Build Back Better” and Biden’s infrastructure bill. Those weren’t things I was really all that eager to get to in the first place. So this is an election that is coming up that we do have to be concerned about.” “Brandon Gill by the way, you look at the ones you like, and we’re gonna love Brandon Herrera out of Texas. We’re gonna love Steve Toth, the guy who beat Crenshaw. These guys are terrific, and there are a few others. Sheriff Lamb, outstanding, so there are gonna be some that we really like.” “When Brandon Gill ran, he was going through the interviews that your consultants make you go through to talk about who you are and why you’re running. He sits down in front of this one group and they say, “what member of Congress do you emulate, do you wanna be like?”, and he said, “Well, I wanna be like Matt Gaetz”. He walked out and that group alone spent a million dollars against him because he had identified me and so obviously we tripled down and helped him win that race.” WATCH NOW:

Tomorrow is a very special day for me… ~A year ago, I was tasked with building business at what was a very dormant Larry Flynt's Lucky Lady Casino. I brought some folks in with me to help build a 2/3 NL game and a $5 DBPLOBP game. It was a STRUGGLE… Turns out it’s incredibly hard to get poker players to try new venues, even if they are beautiful, even if you offer them free food, even if you spew hard and buy bucket after bucket of beer! So, I started @Live_Poker_Show, to make the allure of Lucky Lady even stronger for LA poker players. At the time, my only intention was to build business at LL and hopefully become a complimentary stream to HCL one day. Tomorrow, at 4 PM, we have our first DLPS MUG to help celebrate Lucky Lady’s 8th Anniversary AND just how far we’ve come as a show in only a few months. If you are available, I highly encourage you to come by to see the FUCKING INCREDIBLE community we are building at LL/DLPS. I got a DJ for the occasion. I got a Field Reporter too. There will be: 2/3 NL $5 DBPLOBP 2/5 NL 5/5/10 NL Bounty Join me, Peter Martin, 🇦🇲HanaScorsese💜🎥🎞️🇦🇲, Lucky Lady’s John, Melissa K, @eddthefunplayer, Bren, Eddie T., Saiko🇯🇵🇺🇸, Julia from Palmdale, Jennifer Gianera, Poker Daddy, Vent, Mike X Poker, Aaron Kweskin, Nate Hill, Tyler Dickinson, Cass, Board Girl Nicki, Old man Beer, DK, Z, Bad Beat Bryan, X-man Jake, Fadi, Karen, Morgan, XTC, Dr. Eli, Finn, OMC, Ivey, Gonzo, Regan, Koo, and SO MANY OTHERS in what will undoubtedly be POKER PARTY OF THE YEAR. 🔥 Please sign up on Poker Atlas NOW for your game(s) of choice so we can properly staff! Really hope to see you there (if you are chill). 🙏

Chicago Bears: The Deep Ball Façade As a Chicago Bears truther, I gotta keep it 💯 There are many Bears fans posting “Amazing” out of the pocket deep ball highlights of Caleb Williams Obviously, we don’t see those kinds of throws everyday. It’s insane!! But deep ball playmaking isn’t new to Chicago. Nor is it the focal point of Ben Johnson’s offense. If the Bears are going to be great, we have to become more efficient from the pocket. Pass percentage must go up, time in pocket must come down. Living outside the pocket will hinder our ability to be efficient and to win a Super Bowl #1 Deep Ball was always there Justin Fields in 2023 had one of the most efficient deep balls in the league. Not only that, the majority of his deep balls came from the pocket which is what you want from your QB. As good as the Bears were as a whole last year, the deep ball was far more efficient in 2023. But living on the deep ball and living out the pocket comes with limitations. We have to focus on the fundamentals #2 Ben Johnson is the catalyst Similar to 2023, Bears offense in 2024 had explosive plays followed by inconsistent offense and inept situational football by the head coach Poor offensive line, poor offensive scheme, and inept head coach were the core issues. Ryan Poles thought QB was the main issue and then 2024 happened. We learned quick that it takes more than a talented QB to win football games. Ben Johnson has alleviated all of those concerns. He has made Bears offensive line the focal point! His scheme has been top of the league since he became OC in Detroit. And his situational football awareness far superior than Eberflus. Bears fans must recognize that Ben Johnson is the catalyst of the Bears offensive turnaround, and team success. Now give him what he needs! He wants 3 tight ends? Give it to him He wants more Luther Burden? Give it to him He wants more efficiency out of his QB? Let’s make that the focal point.. #3 Ben Johnson needs a point guard at QB Efficiency in the pocket, time to throw, and passing EPA are far more important to Ben Johnson’s offense than out of pocket deep balls. We need Caleb to be that killer still, but it’s the fundamentals that will allow Bears to take the next step. This offense doesn’t need a Michael Jordan at QB. Ben Johnson would much rather have an Isiah Thomas at QB because this offense has enough Bad Boys to get the job done. Feed the WRs! Get the ball out of your hands quicker! Allow deep ball to be the counter punch of the offense. #4 It’s all there.. The pre-snap awareness, post snap awareness, efficiency from pocket, and pass velocity all scream franchise QB. When you look at Caleb Williams in the pocket on short to intermediate passes, it looks effortless. The ball leaves his hand lightning quick, it’s placed where it’s supposed to be, and WR is able to make a play after the catch. We have to see more of this and it starts now. CW has to trust Ben Johnson’s offense and his WRs more. Conclusion: If we wanted a QB to scramble and throw deep balls, Justin Fields would still be a Chicago Bear What makes Caleb unique, is that he can be a hunter down the field but also has the upside to be a Drew Brees type of QB in the pocket. I rather see more clips of Caleb playing in rhythm and in the pocket , than deep bombs out the pocket. There will be struggles, but that’s ok. I much rather see our QB struggle making the right throws in OTAs than masking it with his gift as an out the pocket thrower.

Grateful for the outpouring the past few days. I can’t tell you how motivating it is to have people care so much about Arc. The encouragement, the criticism, the confusion. Took it all in <3 As a thank you, I’d like to speak more plainly about what’s happening and why – we owe it to you: 1. Every person who joined or invested in our company did so to build products beloved by hundreds of millions of people. “We want to be to the browser what the iPhone was to the cellphone” has been our rallying cry since Day One. We knew chance of success was low but the ambition made us leap out of bed every morning. 2. Arc is beloved, popular, and growing (4x daily actives YoY). But it’s now clear that what most people love about the product *is also* what will prevent it from reaching hundreds of millions of people in our target demographic (people who spend hours in their browsers each day for their livelihood). Arc is a niche browser, even if we did not intend for it to be so. 3. Luckily, we architected this company – from company name to investors and technical architecture – to support multiple products since Day One. See Arc Search. Our favorite brands have multiple product lines in the same category too (Apple, Nike, Disney). Hence our realization: why keep trying to make Arc something it is not? Nobody who loved Arc wanted Arc Max. Arc members just want it to be more stable, secure, and performant. “Let’s just do that!” 4. With Arc as our beloved but niche browser #1, we asked ourselves a simple question: if we founded the company TODAY (in 2024), with everything that we know, what would the browser of the future look like for hundreds of millions of people? Let’s go build *that* product, alongside Arc. A second browser that is easier to use, more focused, and more powerful. All in order to live up to our founding mission (#1 above). 5. Yet none of this would’ve happened if it weren’t for the timing (market timing is most underrated startup ingredient). Mark my words: the Web is going to dramatically change in 2025 – much more than we all appreciate. Crazy new AI & computer-use models are incoming. I promise you that new browsers will be the story of 2025 (The Browser Company aside). Why? The browser layer is the obvious epicenter of AI & Agents because of its unique context, cookies, & apps. 6. To build a breakthrough consumer product (#1) – like truly breakthrough – you need a catalyzing innovation or technology. AI will be that for the next era of browsers, whether we win or someone else does. So why us (other than Arc is niche)? Our belief is that not only do you need the browser layer to win, but “the hard part” is nailing the interface, the interactions, the storytelling. That’s our bread & butter. That’s the expertise of our team. Now you can see how these puzzle pieces fit together… We built something people love (in Arc) and we intend to stick by it. But we also won’t lose sight of why our team poured so much blood, sweat and tears over the past 4 years into this company: the mission to build a new interface to the internet used by hundreds of millions of people every day. It truly feels like the moment we were waiting for is here and we won’t miss it. Everything we’ve done up until this point was for this type of window, even if we couldn’t have predicted it would play out exactly this way. We’re hopeful that more of you will understand why we’re building this second product soon. I feel confident you will once we can show you more of what we’re dreaming up, and once more of the things we’ve heard and seen in the industry reveal themselves soon. Candidly, we wanted to wait on this announcement but random stuff was leaking and it seemed wrong for you to hear from anyone except us first. We’ve always been at our best when we’re open & honest. We’ll continue to be. Finally, THANK YOU, again, for the love & tough love. We don’t take it for granted. We can’t wait to ship, ship, ship in early 2025!

Pec tear injury update: TLDR: Got 2 different opinions from 2 surgeons. 1 said the type of pec injury I have could not be fixed & that I would have to live with deformity & loss of strength. The other, Dr. Cole at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush said it’s more difficult but he can fix it. Going into surgery tomorrow. 🙏 Radiology report from my MRI: “The sternal head portion of the pectoralis major muscle is torn at the myotendinous junction and retracted with surrounding hemorrhage.” Apparently that means that the pec is torn where the muscle and tendon meet as opposed to where the tendon connects to the bone, which is an easier fix. I went to 2 of the best orthopedic surgeons in the city today. The first one said that the type of injury I have could not be fixed because it is a tear at the muscle / tendon rather than tendon off the bone. “It would be like trying to sew together wet paper” He said I would just have to live with the loss of strength and a pec deformity. Then I went to go see Dr. Cole at Rush hospital. He said it’s a more difficult surgery, but that he thinks he can fix it; and that it’s my only hope of not being deformed. So I decided I am going to go through with the surgery for tomorrow. So all positive vibes and prayers are welcome. It’s been a rough week so I really appreciate all of you that reached out over the last few days. I know I was kind of spirally a bit so I want to say that: I understand that I’ve been overwhelmingly blessed in this life and in the scheme of things, this isn’t the end of the world; There are far worse problems to have as many people told me over and over again in the comments. So now I just have to put my faith in the hands of Dr. Cole, in God; the universe, and the magical healing powers of the body and just hope and pray the surgery goes well; that the stitches hold and my muscle fibers reconnect, That I make a full recovery and I can regain full strength, mobility and symmetry. 💪🏻❤️🙏 #pectear #injury #bodybuilding #bodybuilder

It’s time to expose John Deere. John Deere USA has been one of the most beloved brands by conservative farmers but recently on CEO John May’s watch, they’ve gone woke. Here’s some of what we found: • Funding a pride event for kids as young as 3 • "Genderbread man" training • They ask employees to list their "preferred pronouns" on all communications • Bill Gates is listed as their largest shareholder • John Deere celebrated their accounting and finance team taking United Way’s 21 day "United For Equity" program • When I did "United For Equity" program it promoted Ibram Kendi, the woke children’s book "Anti-Racist Baby", "Awake to Woke to Work", a podcast on the concept of "Whiteness", woke activist Robin DiAngelo, bigotry against Christians who supposedly have "Christian Privilege" and more • The woke policies have spread across the global John Deere brand with many of their DEI policies also being forced on their Latin America and India branches • LGBTQ & race based identity groups at corporate • A total commitment to DEI policies • 95/100 CEI score from the HRC John Deere also just announced layoffs in the US and that they plan to shift large segments of production away from the US to Mexico. To put it mildly, John Deere seems to have forgotten who their customers are. Having a farm myself, I’m disgusted that a once great American brand is now taking this turn to seemingly embrace leftist policies that are diametrically opposed to the values of most farmers. What’s unknown is whether CEO John May is knowingly forcing these policies or if it’s gotten out of control and he’s out of the loop on how bad it is. His response to this story will be very revealing as to his culpability in the implementation of woke policies. This report is only the beginning. We have so many pieces of news to report that it’s going to take weeks, maybe even months to report it thoroughly. I plan to report what we’ve found piece by piece so customers and potential customers are informed on the brand’s policies. If they’re proud of adopting woke policies then John Deere and their CEO should be overjoyed by my reporting on their policies, positions, donations and culture. Next we’re going to be doing a deep dive on donations, interviews their executives have given, hiring practices, woke causes they’ve supported, the difficulties some farmers have faced trying to repair their products and much more. If you think John Deere’s values don’t align with yours and you’re a customer or potential customer who wants to speak out, I’ve provided their email and corporate customer service number at the end of this video. Please ALWAYS be respectful and remember that many of the employees disagree with the corporate policies. The majority of your local dealers likely also disagree with this culture change so be very respectful if you reach out to them about your concerns. My goal with this reporting is never destruction. My goal is to inform consumers about the values major companies are adopting so they can make choices about what they’re willing to support. When we use our voices and wallets to vote our values, we can change the world and we can restore great American companies to a culture of sanity, meritocracy and culture war neutrality OR we can inspire competitors to step up to the plate to fight for our business. As we saw with my Tractor Supply stories, millions of people spoke out against these types of woke policies and ultimately Tractor Supply did the right thing by eliminating woke policies, donations, trainings and positions because of your voices. The customer is king and most of us just want companies we shop at to stop virtue signaling about divisive social, cultural and political issues. If you agree then share this video and tag your favorite accounts so they see this news too.

NEW on We The Builders: Mike Solana (Mike Solana) of Founders Fund (Founders Fund) and Pirate Wires (Pirate Wires) on Creating Celebrity Mafia featuring Tech Elite. The consensus strategy is covering entrepreneurs and investors on a podcast. All that has its own place but you don’t create cultural institutions or artifacts while following consensus strategies. I often think about how few cultural institutions get built that matter. They are usually decades in the making and when they arrive, they are timeless and etched in memory. Think about Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of Rings franchises that people are still culturally relevant decades on. How would one do that in the world of technology and venture capital? In recent memory, Mike has produced at least two cultural artifacts, HERETICON which was a conference for what was described as thought crime and now the show Mafia featuring celebrities in tech and venture that took over the Twitter/X timeline when it launched with millions of views and all of tech elite engaged. Everyone I met was talking about it for at least a month after and you can always rewatch it as a good holiday watch like you would replay your favorite TV show. I asked him about the making of Mafia, whether he will transition to player from moderator, how he thinks about creating these unique new cultural artifacts and what’s next (if it happens, it will be the wildest show of all time). The rules of professional product development are being rewritten in real time. - PMs and designers can ship software as easily as engineers. - Software is no longer just built for humans—it’s also built for agents as first-class citizens. To better understand how we build products in this world, I invited Mike Krieger (Mike Krieger) on Every 📧’s AI & I podcast. Mike cofounded Instagram and is now a member of the technical staff at Anthropic, co-leading Anthropic Labs, their internal incubator for experimental products. He's been at the frontier of two transformative technology waves: mobile/social and now agent-native software. We discussed: - How to build a truly agent-native product. The best products today, like Claude Code, allow users to do things that their creators never intended. But that requires hard trade-offs between freedom and safety/reliability for frontier products, an issue that Mike's team is learning how to solve. - What's different about building now versus building Instagram. At Instagram, it took months to hit dead ends and learn what to cut. Now, that cycle runs in hours. - The trap of building too much, too fast with agents. You can go from idea to a nearly-shipped product in a day, but that process doesn’t give you the incremental feedback that used to tell you what not to build. The models are great at adding features, but can create a product that lacks coherence. - How Anthropic Labs structures product teams. New product experiments are led by only two people, usually a product manager or designer paired with an engineer. Mike says bigger teams tend to be too slow because of coordination costs. - Why you need to throw out your product and start over every three to six months. recently Elon Musk and his Mossad handler Nikita Bier banned the accounts of Iranians exposing war propaganda. They gave no reason for the ban. It was a list given to them by the Israel lobby FDD, and they obeyed. One of those banned was Ali Alizadeh, one of the most insightful Iranian analysts whose show is one of the best I've come across at deconstructing the various propaganda lies that are fabricated and spread about Iran, as well as having the most astute and correct analysis of the fake "negotiations", the "ceasefire", and how Zionists and the Israel lobby drive the war with Iran and will continue it until they either accomplish their objective of destroying Iran as a nation and people, as they did in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, or until they are sufficiently deterred by Iran and the Axis of Resistance's military response. I read his account in translation here for his insights, as well as that of the accounts he followed and had as guests on his show. Now he has two channels, called Jedaal Farsi and English, and you can watch both as a non-Farsi speaker as you can turn on auto-translate subtitles. I highly recommend you do that, as there is no place where you can find more detailed and insightful analysis on Iran than from his show, and the various guests he has on. Recently he had a show with the great Dr. Foad Izadi, who has also appeared on some English language media like Drop Site and Al Jazeera. He and Ali are both entirely in agreement on the nature of this war and how it should be resolved, and if you want to understand it properly, you should watch it. I agree with their analysis entirely. So I have found a way to download the Farsi subtitles that are auto-generated, and translated them into English and they look good. I'm going to post the full show here, and then also link to it. I will try to do the same for other shows by Ali that are particularly insightful, given that he can no longer post them here himself as he was banned exactly because he is right and is therefore seen as a threat by the Israel lobby.

I’ve made a short film. Look at the things around you: doors, bins, staircases, furniture, railings, doorhandles, windows. Do you like how they look, or not? Modern design has become boring, but it doesn’t have to be this way. The word “beautiful” is overused. We don’t need “beautiful” lamps, bus stops, and water fountains – we just need lamps, bus stops, and water fountains that are interesting, that actually mean something. Or, at the very least, not boring. Because the aesthetics of architecture and urban design aren’t just a bonus; they totally change how we think, feel, and behave. Boring environments make us more stressed and less productive; they erode our sense of community; they make us sadder, less trusting, and lonelier. A boring world is one where we spend even more time online and where our addictions are even harder to battle. The Problem There is global, widespread dissatisfaction with how the world looks. In this film, and the series it will lead to, we want to investigate that feeling and give it a voice. The point isn’t that we should return to the past or get rid of modernism. It’s about learning from the past in order to improve the present, and about giving the public what they very clearly want, which isn’t the eradication of modernism but the co-existence of modernism AND traditionalism. Just look where tourists go, where they take their photos, and that tells you everything you need to know about what most people find interesting or beautiful. And look at where people go on holiday. It’s always to cities filled with old architecture and design, with churches and mosques and palaces, with charming little alleyways and stone staircases and wrought-iron railings. Of the world’s fifty most visited buildings, only four were made in the 20th century, and they’re all museums or memorials. There’s a reason why posts about this go viral online all the time. Regardless of why the change happened, it is clearly the case that we no longer make things how we used to. People are rightly confused by the fact that old lamp posts (to take the example we focus on in the film) are usually so pretty, while modern ones are usually so boring. Some people say this is just an example of survivorship bias… and they’re mostly correct. But that’s the whole point! Saying old buildings are usually prettier than modern buildings is not to say that architecture used to be better, or that the past was better. It is simply to say that certain kinds of buildings, because they have been preserved, are good examples of what people like most. In which case... shouldn't we try to design at least some buildings in a way that we know people like? A Unifying Cause Everybody, from all sides of the political spectrum and all backgrounds, stands to benefit from a world that is designed more thoughtfully and imaginatively. The world could be such a colourful, meaningful, and thrilling place! So this isn’t about left versus right or conservatism versus progressivism; it’s about making our world a more interesting and meaningful place to live in. This should be a unifying cause, because everybody loses out when our homes and cities are badly designed. I want this film to unite people who think they’re on opposite sides, and to create a consensus that we need to change our approach to how we design our buildings and the objects – benches, bus stops, bins, lamp posts, aircon units – that fill our cities. The Importance of Details We are incredibly rich and have a sprawling choice of shows to stream, phones to buy, or shoes to wear… but everything feels more and more generic all the time. If you want to understand a society, don’t listen to what it says about itself – look at what it creates. You can learn everything about the Victorians – the good and the bad – just by looking at their lamp posts. And what do the ordinary details of the modern world say about us? That we are technologically advanced, very efficient… and care more about making money, about making things as quickly and cheaply as possible, than making our world an enjoyable place to actually live in. It’s important to learn about why and how things have changed, but that’s for another time. The first step is establishing that the public aren’t happy with modern architecture and design, and that something needs to be done. But what we need isn’t a total revival of so-called ‘traditionalism’; the truth is that traditionalism and modernism can (and should) co-exist. The trouble right now is that we only have one, and that people are tired of it. The Power of Noticing But this film (and the series it will, all being well, lead to) is about more than the specific argument it presents. Above all it’s about a way of seeing the world around us, a way of noticing and thinking. “How you do anything is how you do everything.” That is probably true, and it also applies to whole societies, not just individuals; a single doorbell implies everything else about the whole socio-economic and political system that gave rise to its creation. And, beyond being merely “useful”, the ability to notice details makes the world a richer place to live in, and life a richer thing to lead. This is what the film is about, more than anything: the power and joy of noticing. A Bigger Project This short film is just the beginning. We want to make a full series about the history of art and architecture, both for their own sake and also to see what we can learn about life in the twenty-first century and how to improve it. To keep updated you can join our email list over at our website, linked in the reply below. Final Words You can watch the film here on X, or over on YouTube, also linked in the reply below. So… this is where the dream begins, the dream of a new series and the dream of a more charming, more interesting, more meaningful modern world. Spread the word.

Thank you Bryan Johnson. Jefferson is amazing. I will try to summarize the general dunk formula right now: 1. Height is a huge factor 2. Genetic jumping starting point 3. Age and injury history Then I would say 2 main things go missed: 1. Not being able to palm a ball is a huge barrier - not only to putting the ball through the rim, but holding back the JUMP INTENT itself. A small or foam ball (and even low rim if needed) can be a breakthrough to BECOMING A GOOD JUMPER. Getting well up over the rim is the first step and you can get better quality jumps without holding a ball. 2. A full squat. Think Wemby, 7+ feet tall, no chance genetically to be an Olympic weightlifter but then the top Olympic weightlifter of all time, pound for pound, is like 5’5” and no chance blocking Webmy’s dunk - and so FULL SQUAT tends to go missing! It gets overlooked. But I’ve seen NOTHING come close to how much it SUPPORTS dunk goal, because it strengthens legs AND KNEES. It’s almost like the worse you are at full squat, the more potential is waiting for you. For dunking, knee is NOT #1 power but knee PAIN is #1 BARRIER. Even in pro dunking you’ll now find the majority full squat. I personally coached many of them 8 years ago and it changed dunking, behind the scenes, forever. I’m not saying to work through pain. Here and on a weekly basis I post pain-free full squat strategy. 3. Similarly, seated calf machine goes underrated for extra Achilles support. So if we recap: Dunk is largely your starting point you can’t do anything about. But you can do a LOT with uninhibited jumping - that means neither ball nor knee pain or Achilles pain holding you back. Then, yes, any other power method is valid and can further boost! Doesn’t help that from 1970s to today, in many textbooks, “NO KNEE OVER TOES / NO FULL SQUAT” was forced on millions of students, despite no long-term research, which now shows that mistake.

Announcing: Writing Examples Today is launch day! We built this website to celebrate great writing. It’s 100% free. Each article deconstructs a piece of writing from an iconic writer. The goal is to give you X-Ray vision into what makes sentences and paragraphs come alive (so that you can improve at your craft). Every example has an analysis of why the writing works. Analytical often means dry. But instead of going technical, we’ve gone technicolor. There are text-explainers, summary graphics, and videos that come together to make the writing instruction lively and multi-dimensional. It’s a place where you can discover how great writing comes together. Where we lift up the hood and see the mechanics in action. It isn’t about giving you a set of rules to follow. It’s about showing the diversity of ways writers approach their craft, so you can develop your own style. What are some of the articles about? You’ll learn how to describe a party like F. Scott Fitzgerald, how to tell a story like George Orwell, how to write a speech like John F. Kennedy. There are other articles inspired by the likes of John Steinbeck, James Clear, Winston Churchill, Edgar Allen Poe, Charles Dickens, Steven Pressfield, and Jerry Seinfeld. Writing Examples is a crusade against the sterility of contemporary writing. So much of the advice you read says the same thing: “Be direct. Cut the fluff. Get to the point. Stick to short sentences.” And yeah, sure, this advice has merit. It’s useful in certain cases, but the problem is writers take these rules to be universal, which has homogenized writing styles. Even in my own writing, there’ve been so many times where I’ve stripped away my own voice in the name of “correctness.” I regret that. The truth is, there is no one way to write well, just as there is no one way to speak well. The way you speak in a boardroom is different from the way you speak on a first date, which is different from the way you speak with your childhood best friends. Writing is similar. Writing Examples is the opposite of Grammarly. It celebrates the wild, wacky, and the weird because it’s the bedrock of personality. The site’s explicit purpose is to inject some High Noon Chutzpah back into the world of writing. To teach you how to write with distinctly human fingerprints in a world that’s about to be flooded with AI-generated content. Forget playing it safe. That’s the most dangerous thing you can do in a world of instant writing. I want you to write with personality. I want you to play with punctuation. I want you to ditch the corporatized hogwash. I want to expand your sense of what great writing can be. And I want you to have fun doing it. But there’s more to the mission. Writing Examples is a protest against today’s Internet, where people spend the majority of their time reading ad-polluted articles and doom-scrolling the same few social media sites. Remember when we used to surf the Internet? When every site was its own wave to ride? Now, we’re like phone-addicted zombies, we mindlessly scroll Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram until we feel bad about ourselves — only to repeat the cycle a few hours later. Writing Examples is different. Heartfelt writing deserves a heartfelt presentation, so every element of the site has been designed from scratch. Energetically, we wanted to honor the gravitas of classic writing without the sleepiness of a drab old library shelf. We said no to ads. We said no to pop-ups. No hijacking your attention. None of the flat white backgrounds that make the Internet feel so homogenous. And we said no to anything that feels like your 5th-grade English class. Writing Examples isn’t about what’s trending. It’s about learning from the great writers of times past, most of whom you know, many of whom you probably haven’t taken the time to read. The ultimate goal is to make Writing Examples a one-stop shop to learn about any kind of writing you can think of. Now, I dare you to dive into the site and get to work.

"Entities and craft don’t appear and disappear. They enter the human visual frequency range and then leave." Interdimensional, Elizondo, Eric Davis and David Icke "If these craft and beings can operate outside of our perception, they can be involved in our lives and we would have no idea." ~Me (The video has two clips and a meme I made.) Jillian Michaels: "What is inner space? What does interdimensional even mean? Is that like some sort of suggestion that they're coming from another universe? What does that mean?" Lue Elizondo: "Well, you know, not necessarily. So let me give, if I can, to kind of distill this down into something that might be a little bit more easy to consume. The reality...so I mentioned I live here in Wyoming, and you can come out on any particular night and gaze upon the heavens and see just a, you know, a beautiful, beautiful night sky, completely unoccluded. "Now, if you were to take technology like, oh, I don't know, a radio telescope or an infrared telescope, and point at the same part of the sky that you were looking at with your naked eye, you would see a completely different reality. You would see large nebulas and megelenic clouds, and plasma, and things that the human eye just simply can't perceive. "In fact, if you look at the five fundamental ways in which we perceive the Universe, which there's only five, right? And if you can't touch it, taste it, hear it, smell it, etc., we have no idea it's there. But if you had, for example, let's go back to the bumblebee, right? If you had bumblebee-vision and you were to look at a flower, you would see a completely different reality, because they view the Universe in ultraviolet spectrum, beyond our ability to perceive, right? Or if you were a snake and you could see in thermal vision, you see heat, right, and perceive heat. "The human eye...it only picks up - think about this - .0035% of the entire electromagnetic spectrum. In fact, most of the Universe we cannot perceive directly, it lies beyond our ability to directly perceive it." ~~~ The following excerpt is from "The Trap" by David Icke. He's been making this point for decades. Icke: "What we see with our eyes – actually our brain/mind – is only a tiny band of frequency called visible light within the electromagnetic spectrum. The entire spectrum (what we call ‘light’) is estimated to be just 0.005 percent of what exists in the Universe. Some say it’s up to 0.5 percent and whichever it’s infinitesimal. Think about that and even more so this: The only band of frequency that we can ‘see’ is a fractional smear of the 0.005 percent known as visible light. In the name of sanity we are basically blind. "Religions tell us that all we need to know is between the covers of a single book within a barely perceivable fraction of 0.005 percent of the Universe. How crazy is that? As the quote by Socrates at the start of the chapter says: ‘The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.’ The way to know anything is to open your mind to all possibility and not confine perception to the sense of reality programmed into your psyche all your life to keep you perceptually, thus ‘physically’, enslaved. We scan the world and think we can see all there is to see in the perceived ‘space’ we are observing when we are ‘seeing’ only the hilariously narrow frequency band of visible light. "Infinite Reality exists in that same ‘space’; it’s just that we can’t see it. Our five-sense visual decoding system can only decode visible light. Try putting on a computer screen levels of frequency that the computer is not programmed to decode. You can’t and the principle is exactly the same. People are ridiculed and dismissed for claiming they’ve seen non-human entities or spacecraft appearing out of nowhere and then disappearing. Once again the ridicule comes from ignorance. It shows that if you can suppress knowledge of the possible you can manipulate your targets to dismiss with a laugh and a wave of the hand what is actually happening. "Those entities and craft don’t appear and disappear. They enter the human visual frequency range and then leave. To the human observer they only seem to appear and disappear as they come and go from the only band of frequency the observer can see. It’s real simple and that goes for all apparently ‘impossible’ phenomena." Icke, David . The Trap: What it is. How it works. And how we escape its illusions (p. 265). (Function). Kindle Edition. ~~~Back to Lue~~~ Elizondo: To perceive most of the Universe, "we need technology, and yet that is really where most of the Universe lies, beyond our spectrums of visible light. They might lie in X-ray or gamma or radio or microwave, or, you know, all sorts of other areas. And so, we say interdimensional, it might not be something as, you know, exotic as another universe. It doesn't have to be. It can be part of this Universe, but part of this Universe that we simply can't perceive. "And we hear this all the time with things such as dark energy and dark matter. Most of the Universe lies in this invisible realm that, even today, with today's technology, we know it's there but we can't perceive it. And yet, that's where most of the 'stuff,' if you will, of our reality in the Universe actually lies." ~~~ And I think this MIGHT be related... Marik vR: "The Trump administration's first UAP document release also includes witness interviews by FBI agents and an FBI laboratory composite sketch from a truly intriguing, perplexing September 2023 incident. "In this case, which occurred at an Air Force testing range in Florida, three witnesses in two vehicles observed a large, metallic quote, 'cigar-shaped object for five to ten seconds before it disappeared.' Literally vanished instantaneously in front of their eyes. One of the witnesses was a range officer with 15 years of experience, and the others were drone experts. In other words, these were individuals who are well aware of what aircraft and objects are operating at such ranges." (So, did this object switch to its stealth technology and disappear that way, or did it use some other way to avoid the perception of the witnesses and "disappear" into another "dimension," so to speak?) Here's a short and succinct definition of "interdimensional" from Dr. Eric Davis.. "Interdimensional is speculation but it’s widely referring to the potential for different planes of existence that humans haven’t discovered or cannot sense. There is the possibility of life that exists outside of human visual and auditory ranges which an NHI might exist within but this is not in another number of dimensions that differ from our own." ~Dr. Eric W. Davis (If these craft and beings can operate outside of our perception, they can be involved in our lives and we would have no idea. If that's going on, it may be VERY difficult for the masses to accept.)
