Why do we suck at it then? It’s not a coincidence that so many players have been ass here, then proceeded to become wayyy better with other teams. The same thing will probably happen with guys like Rodriguez and Noel

Are you for real! They can’t develop hitters. Manzardo was NOT developed here and the one hitter they sort of developed started in the all star game for another team.

Points aren’t the separator… Players are so consumed with how many points they average, and OBVIOUSLY points set the level… you need to be able to score it. But when you dive in to separating players that score the ball at the same rate… it’s about HOW they go about it. How are they impacting the game beyond the scoring? How are they getting their shots, and how many shots are they taking? If players focus on the how, their game becomes more well rounded and efficient 👍👍

How can players make a big jump next year?!?! For High School and College players… they all put in work with their coaches. Most of them have a trainer they see to put in work. So what is the separator? 1. Are you working on the right things with your coaches that are going to help you be a better player working your team and overall 2. HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU PUT IN THE GYM ON YOUR OWN. This is a HUGE SEPARATOR because this time isn’t dependent on anyone and is unlimited in how much you do. Almost every player I’ve worked with that has made a BIG JUMP has put in extra time on their own. It’s not only because of the work, but it also helps players understand their game better and gives them a bigger investment in their development. As a player you should assess that part of your development today!

Marcus Smart's turn on how he feels about the refs: "We just expect consistency. You can't talk to them. It's funny because even in the Utah game I went up at the beginning of the game to be captain. The captain should be able to come talk to them. They still don't wanna hear it. Hopefully they can get it together but it's definitely something that as a whole we are as players are frustrated with it. What's the point of us calling to talk about a situation when you're just gonna have your mind made up already? Why even talk to you guys?"
