Standard Nuclear's Kurt Terrani says 2025 was the "watershed moment" for building new nuclear capacity, and that the first nuclear microreactors will be turning on this year. "The hyperscalers' demand for nuclear is insatiable. A nuclear plant that couldn't compete in a deregulated market against gas, they're gonna bring that on and meet their goals." "Some microreactors are turning on this year. It's incredible. We are literally making a core load right now for Radiant, and those guys are about to turn [theirs] on."
