Update: Founder took responsibility. People do make mistakes the point is to learn from it. All the best for the team for the launch ❤️ For founders: if you need to launch and don’t have a lot of time just make a simple website. Linear launched with single page.

That’s what fear with all this copying going around. At some point people get confused. We also had a webflow company copy our site “as practice” and list it publicly so it shows up in search results now. It’s a exact copy with our assets.

There should be a public record of startups who shamelessly rip the hard work of others. If you can’t design your own website, there’s zero hope for your product.

@realkniels This is the part I don’t understand. Do founders really think it’s ok and good strategy for their startup? By clearly copying, you signal your lack of morals and/or inability to execute. Or they just think they won’t get caught?
