The story of the Idaho plane crash, where a family perished, and some among you found it fitting to revel in their suffering because they supported Trump, is a stark revelation of how far we have strayed from God's intent. You claim to stand for progress, for humanity, for justice, yet here you are, reveling in the death of a mother and her child, simply because their political views differed from yours. This is not progress; this is the very definition of evil, as Captain Gustave Gilbert observed at Nuremberg: "Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy." Let me remind you of what God has intended for all of us, as clearly stated in His word: 1. Love Your Enemies (Matthew 5:44) - Jesus commands, "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." How can you claim to follow any moral high ground when you celebrate the death of those you disagree with? This is not love; it is hatred masquerading as righteousness. 2. Do Not Judge (Matthew 7:1-2) - "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Your judgment of this family, your glee in their misfortune, is a measure that will return to you. God sees your heart, and He will hold you accountable. 3. Compassion and Mercy (Colossians 3:12) - "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." Where is your compassion? Where is your kindness? You have stripped yourselves bare of these virtues, choosing instead to clothe yourselves in malice and division. 4. The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) - The parable of the prodal son teaches us about forgiveness and unconditional love. The father did not withhold his love because of the son's choices; he welcomed him back with open arms. Yet you withhold empathy, you withhold basic human decency, because of political choices. This is a perversion of God's grace. 5. Unity in Christ (Ephesians 4:3) - "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." Instead of unity, you sow division. Instead of peace, you foster hatred. This is not the way of Christ, and it is not the way of a just society. Your actions, your words, your celebration of tragedy, are a betrayal of the very principles you claim to uphold. You have become what you accuse others of being: heartless, divisive, and devoid of empathy. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 6:16-19, "There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community." By justifying this tragedy, you rush into evil, you stir up conflict, and you shed innocent blood through your lack of compassion. The end result of such a path is clear. Galatians 6:7-8 states, "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." You are sowing destruction, not just for others, but for yourselves. You are mocking God by ignoring His commands to love, to forgive, to show mercy. I call you to repentance. Turn from this darkness, this celebration of death, and embrace the light of God's love. Pray for the souls of those lost, pray for the surviving family, and pray for your own hardened hearts. That was a friend of mines granddaughter and great grandson and her husband they were a beautiful family.

I believe this with all my heart- it’s not hyperbole, it’s a biblical fight of good against evil that we’re in the midst of and the people who call themselves “good, loving, kind and tolerant” are the worst of all.
