I am a senior citizen with the increasing number of ailments that come with that. While always qualifying it is not a replacement for my seeing a qualified medical provider (yet), I can’t count the times AI has given me a very helpful assessment of symptoms I have submitted to it with often a list of highly insightful possible causes of the complaint. Recently, when I was suffering from a rapidly advancing upper respiratory infection that led to my having trouble breathing at 10 pm, when my PCP physician would have been unavailable, AI told me to go directly to the emergency room to be immediately treated by professional healthcare providers. Direct AI care is only inches away.

So why not have robots that have more compute are connected online via cable. That way they don't need a compute on board and they could run from the net net. NB surgeons right now because there's plenty of compute to train and model surgery and I think that would be one way to do it..

I love brilliant people, but I can’t stand a brilliant person thinking that he has to be right all the time extreme. His identity is based on this. He’s never wrong for a man that has that much pool that much respect because he usually is right 99% of them, but he’s wrong that ☝️

@elonmusk how do you factor in a healthy regard for humanity and life? Surgery is life and death to humans but just another task to a robot. Humanity matters and robots need human oversight by someone with conscience and value for human life.

Every town, village, and community will have the world’s greatest surgeon available 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day. IF AI is a benefit and not a detriment..

I’ve had two surgeries in the last year. Both were preformed by robotics in hospital. Both surgeries were successful with minimal downtime. My surgeon watched the robot to ensure the surgery was successful without problems.

I personally believe there's a widespread danger that doctors who portray themselves to do no harm carry out atrocities against the people that they find unbecoming unworthy less than and this is just conspiracy thinking but I am more than positive that there is a danger here

The medical field is getting the most out of AI and a robot making surgeons

All that about Optimus is astonishing amazing new reality. But, what about all the humans that might have been surgeons. They are by definition the very highest intelligence plus high performance. I wonder what they'll do instead. All that human potential will be directed toward something else... or I guess maybe humans won't even try to achieve like that anymore. I don't know.
