Moon knight hate is so forced

They wanted to see him wrap every individual bandage

yeah we are, this sucks for the same reasons all nanothech suits suck

The clown profile picture checks out

not nanotech but this was one of the best suitups/transitions in marvel ALSO WE NEED MOONKNIGHT 2 THANKYOU

Also we arent gonna act like the character with an EGYPTIAN GOD powering him, turning into a Mummified Super Soldier isn't hella cool. I like OG Moon Knight's design but it was always weird that his design doesnt play into the Egyptian Theme.

bro wants the avatar of a god to have a suit made by some random guy 💀 this is peak

"Nanotech like" and it's a magical girl transformation.

Yeah this is one that makes sense to me, because it’s like magic powers given to him by a god. As far as the actual nanotech helmets, I think Tony is the only one who should have had one. I much preferred the actual helmet mask Black Panther had in Civil War.

nono you're right it's "moving gradient transparency texture on bandages that randomly materialise into a shape"

That suit up scene was so clean🥶

If it looked more like the bandages wrapping around him instead of materializing on him it would work. He needs a proper magical girl transformation sequence.

guess i’ll watch moon knight AGAIN

Imagine calling the divine threads nanotech

They mean the suit slowly covering the actor by what looks like just mental power, like that scene of Jane just walking and the helmet comes on for literally no reason, I liked it on star lord in the first movie because he actually pressed a button on his helmet to make it appear

That’s called a suit transition, and Spawn had one

They "nanotech like". I think they mean its the same instant suit-up instead of an actual change of clothes like literally almost every other Marvel project lately

This why i hate dumb niggas. They call everything nanotech cause theu lack functioning braincells then get a thousand likes from other people who lack functioning braincells

Fuck it imma say it: this goes hard as fuck. I loved this show and yes maybe it’s not the best and not the most accurate but fuck me if I didn’t enjoy the shit out of it.

I hated Iron Man nanotech before he had nanotech lol

In some scenes, Moon Knight’s transformation looks cool. This is not one of them. This is absolutely nanotech-like. I get it though. They needed him to transform super fast for the sake of the scene’s fluidity.

Love the show, but let’s not act like they didn’t make it similar to nanotech 😭

The idea is great but the execution was ass. It barely looks like cloth wrapping around him and more like its just fading into existence like nanotech

Why can’t Moon Knight have a costume like Batman? 💔

The whole point of moon knight is not knowing whether he has powers or his just crazy, if the suit magically appears like bad nanotech effects it negates the “is he just a crazy guy in a suit?” Aspect

ngl bro when he said nanotech he means a suit that is just cgi and comes on its own. moon knight should not be able to do that shit regardless on how cool it looks

I'm one of the few people on here that likes the show, but it's definitely in the spirit of nanotech lmao

Yeah, the shit that appears from thin air bc they are too afraid to give these characters actual suits is nanotech like

it is tho they appear from no where and come in as particles

Cut from the same cloth, nanotech generally just refers when the suit spawns or grows over the person regardless of whether its tech or not (so you could argue Venom is technically nanotech too) But those are better cuz of the context and presentation, it makes sense and is cool

That hood is pure fucking nanotech bullshit But it may be bandages and shit but it's spiritually nanotech,

To be clear, the 'nanotech' element is a catch-all for the problem, not a specifier. It simply happens most frequently with nanotech, hence why that's the moniker. The real problem has to do with how the masks and costumes the heroes wear are treated as throw aways. Everything needs to be easily removable with magic, or nanotech, or what have you, so we can maximize how much we see the actor's face, reduce practical prop costs, and maximize action versatility (often at the cost of grounding). It doesn't matter if it's done well anymore; it's become an associated symptom to a lack of care or interest in bringing a vision to life. Everything is a shortcut for maximum profitability instead of faithfulness or creativity. I, personally, do like nanotech armors and magic armors, things that can pop on and off whenever, but it needs a time and place, and it's oversaturated, especially in Marvel. It felt special when Ironman busted out the nanotech suit, and now it no longer does with how everyone has access to the tech now, and we all know the actors are just running around in blue pajamas instead of being in an easy outfit to make practical. I completely understand people hating it as a concept with how overdone it is.

It is though... Why wouldn't Moon Knight just have a normal spandex outfit he puts on at night, like Spider-Man or Wolverine?

Its the same thing

It is

Ok but thats what it is. Just because you like the presentation doesnt change the fact its a cgi suit that functions exactly like nanotech. I think it looks cool too and I really like the mummy esthetics of it but it IS basically just magic nanotech
