For those who don't know history, Mzilikazi and uSoshangane never surrendered or bowed to Shaka, the people who left with them did not become part of the Zulu nation. The Zulu nation is built around clans that surrendered and bowed to uShaka Zulu.

Did Mzilikazi leave present day KZN as a Ndebele ? IsiNdebele spoken in Zim is different with isiNdebele sakwaMhlanga. In fact isiNdebele spoken in Zim is 90 percent similar to isiZulu with a few isiXhosa words. Did Mzilikazi find Ndebeles already living in areas he conquered?
