That is why we launched a new Anti-Ballistic Missile Program that includes coordination across the political, governmental, and industrial dimensions and can deliver anti-ballistic weapons at scale: the system and the missiles for it. We named the program FREYJA, and today our Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition held its first, inaugural meeting. Thank you, friends, for your support. It is important that European companies are also represented – specifically those that manufacture critical components for defense systems: Fire Point, Thales, Diehl Defence, Saab, Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, Weibel, Leonardo, Sener, MBDA, Eurosam, Safran, and Destinus. 🇬🇧 The Royal Navy of the United Kingdom has officially adopted a new small anti-ship missile Sea Venom, which can now be used from AW159 Wildcat anti-submarine helicopters. According to the press release, each helicopter can carry up to four such missiles, allowing it to engage multiple targets in one sortie. The Sea Venom anti-ship missile was developed as part of the new Future Anti-Surface Guided Weapon program and complements the lighter air-to-air Martlet missiles responsible for self-defense. MAH, better known as the 'Hind' of Korea, has this time demonstrated a rocket attack. MAH is a new attack helicopter for the Marine. It can arm with a 20mm chain gun, Taipers missiles, France Mistral, 70mm rocket, 70mm LOGIR missile, and smart drones. Basically, heavily armed KUH-1 'Surion' and MUH-1. This latest platform has been mass-produced, is still in production, and is highly digitalized. As you may have guessed, MAH can transport troops, too. China is urgently preparing for drone warfare and is arming itself with a MANPADS-based air defense system. The Type 625 MANPADS-based air defense system has been introduced into the Chinese army units. It is equipped with a six-barrel 25mm cannon and four missiles from MANPADS with a firing range of about 5 kilometers. Initially, the vehicle was demonstrated with eight missiles of a longer range. However, the experience of the special military operation in the East is also being studied, and for now, this version of the vehicle is being adopted by the PLA. All four SKYNEX systems pledged by Germany have been delivered and are operational. It's true — this is Russia's last major advantage. I believe Europe urgently needs its own capability to produce anti-ballistic systems and the missiles they require. We all value the Patriot system — it is an excellent system, and there are others as well. But today's wars have shown that current Patriot production is not enough to meet the growing demand for protection against ballistic missiles. That is a fact, and we must respond to that fact. During this war, Ukraine has already reached the level where nearly 60 percent of the weapons in the hands of our warriors are Ukrainian-made – and they are strong weapons, many of them cutting-edge. Of course, there are goals we must still achieve, in particular the production in Ukraine and together with Ukraine different types of air defense systems. We must get there. Ukraine has already proven that in weapons production we are among the best in the world. I thank everyone who is developing Ukraine’s defense sector, designing new models of Ukrainian weapons, and driving the technological advancement of our country.

This is already Ukraine’s ninth such agreement, and it is important that more and more partners are joining this format, which opens up greater opportunities for joint defense production, the exchange of expertise, and transparency in weapons exports. Together, we are building a new security architecture. I thank Denmark, and personally Mette, for this step toward strengthening our shared defense. It was with Denmark that we began joint production in Ukraine under the Danish model, and it is absolutely fair that Denmark will now have access to Ukrainian exports of weapons tested in war. Today, we also discussed with the Prime Minister Statsministeriet the strengthening of our air defense and work on European anti-ballistic defense. It is extremely important for us right now to receive Patriot missiles as quickly as possible and to jointly develop our own European capabilities to counter ballistic threats. I thank Denmark for its continued support for our people – for its defense and financial assistance, and for all its contributions to the PURL initiative.

We have done a lot to transition the Ukrainian Air Force to a new aviation standard – Western combat aviation. From the beginning of this war, we have been talking with our partners about the need to close the Ukrainian sky from Russian missiles and aircraft. We have held hundreds of meetings and negotiations to strengthen the capabilities of our aviation, air defense, and Defense Forces. We often heard the word "impossible" in response, but we made possible what was our ambition, our defense need, and now – it is a reality in our sky. F-16s in Ukraine. We ensured this. I am proud of all our guys who are skillfully mastering these aircraft and have already started using them for our country. I thank our team for this result. I thank all the partners who are truly helping with the F-16s, and the first countries that accepted our request for aircraft – Denmark, the Netherlands, the United States, – and all our partners, – we value your support. I wish our Air Force and all our warriors to feel the pride of Ukrainians in our combat aviation and to bring Ukraine the combat results that will bring our victory closer – our just peace for Ukraine.

I instructed our intelligence and our army to act in advance against the facilities that Russians use to scale up the war. We are reaching ammunition depots – near St. Petersburg, a significant number of Baltic Fleet munitions have been destroyed, with similar strikes carried out in other directions as well. We are reaching military production facilities – including production of critical components for missiles in Voronezh – the very missiles that Russians use to strike our cities and villages, our energy system, and our lives. Another successfully hit target was the plant in Cheboksary, which was struck by Flamingo missiles. We are reaching deeper into Russian military logistics. We also have confirmed hits on gas facilities in Orenburg region – more than 1,200 kilometers from the front line. There were also multiple strikes on oil facilities across Russian territory. Communication centers of Russian army have also been hit – targets that are strategically important for them and are used both in strikes against Ukraine and in Russian threats against the world.
