Ordinary people who care about Ukraine's future and how Ukrainian children will live. We remember what it cost in 2014. We honor the courage of everyone who took part in the Revolution of Dignity, everyone who did not leave the Maidan so that Ukraine would not be left without freedom. Blessed be the memory of all the Heavenly Hundred heroes, as well as every Ukrainian who gave their lives so that Ukraine would be free. Glory to Ukraine!

Question mark. This is the existential question that Europe must answer for itself: Are we in a position to help Ukraine defend itself even if the United States does not? It depends on how willing we are. So far, we have helped Ukraine more than the United States, both in civilian and military terms. Can we do even more and replace the United States? This comes at a cost, and what is needed is not only the will and the ability to pay for it, but also to convert the money into weapons. Because people don't go to the front with a bag of cash; people go to the front with weapons. And between money and weapons there is something called industry, that is, production capacity.

Jirka is 15 years old. He rushed to Old Town Square in Prague on Sunday to take part in a rally in support of Ukraine because he is convinced that people in Czechia should support Ukraine. "I came to express my support for Ukraine, we must not weaken our help, because this war concerns us too," Jirka said, adding that it is necessary to be interested in politics. $“When you spend 5% of your annual Pentagon budget on supporting Ukraine, destroying 50% of Russian military equipment, then that’s a good investment.” This is exactly what I tell all them time. We have yet a good chance to destroy the Russian war machine with a fraction of what is needed later on. There is no way that Putin will ever stop unless when being defeated and destroyed on the battlefield. When we do it now then we even save our own cities and people. Ukraine is more than willing to destroy the invaders and we should be thankful to the people of Ukraine for that. Just do it!$

"We in Donbas are waiting for Ukraine — please, pass it on." Natalia Shylo, a schoolteacher from Horlivka, Donetsk region, spent nearly four years in Russian captivity. In the summer of 2021, Natalia left Kyiv to visit her ill mother back home, but she never made it to her destination. Russian occupiers detained her at the checkpoint, accusing her of allegedly spying for Ukraine. At first, Natalia was taken to a temporary detention facility, and later transferred to a pre-trial detention center. In April, Ukraine's Main Directorate of Intelligence secured her release. She now lives in Kyiv. Natalia told that people in Donbas are waiting for Ukraine: "Elderly people are waiting, people my age are waiting. Even children are learning the Ukrainian language. Today there was a Russian strike on an energy facility in Kharkiv: hundreds of thousands of people were left without electricity and heating. I informed Mark about these attacks and about our needs for protection and bolstering our air defense. The PURL initiative is helping us a lot in this regard, and we are counting on an increase in contributions this month. We also discussed our diplomatic work in detail, as well as our contacts with partners in the United States and Europe. We exchanged views on what the next steps should be. We have already achieved significant progress, and it is now important not to slow down. Ukraine has never been – and will never be – an obstacle to achieving peace. Thank you for your support!

As of today, we can see that Russia responded to our proposal for a ceasefire only with new strikes. We will definitely not give the enemy any reason to say that Ukraine does not want peace, that it is disrupting the process, and that Ukraine is not ready for diplomacy. This is the dignity and freedom of Ukrainians, because everything else is based on this: our sovereignty, our independence, our land, our people, and Ukraine's future. We will and must do everything we can to ensure that in the end, there is an end to the war and not an end to Ukraine, Europe, and global peace. I have just spoken with Europeans, and we are counting on our European friends, who understand that Russia is not far away, that it is close to the EU's borders, and that Ukraine is now the only shield separating comfortable European life from Putin's plans. We remember that Europe was with us, and we believe that Europe will be with us. Ukraine should not experience déjà vu of February 24, when we felt that we were alone, when no one could stop Russia except our heroic people, who stood as a wall against Putin's army. And our people really, really want this war to end. We are, of course, made of steel, but even the strongest metal can give way. Don't forget that. Stand with Ukraine, stand with our people. And therefore, stand with dignity and freedom.

Friends, Winter is coming. Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure will increase. Russia has ramped up drone production and is changing its attack tactics. There will be blackouts in winter. Kyiv will be Russia’s main strategic and symbolic target. The scale of the threat is unprecedented, and no European country could handle such massive, combined missile-and-drone attacks on its own. Defending Ukraine’s skies is entirely possible if Ukraine and our allies act in unified planning and coordination. We need help to protect our civilians from blackouts, cold and darkness, and a new wave of refugees to the EU. Right now, there are two very important areas that Ukraine needs help with: ◾️ Generators - to power critical infrastructure and other important objects; ◾️ Helicopters with thermal imagers - to shoot down Russian drones that attack our infrastructure. Of course, helicopters can only be provided by governments, but the generators are easier. Friends, please help share this post with everyone who might help with these two areas. … outside the window, there is winter and war. At night, temperatures in many Ukrainian cities drop to -19°C (approximately -2.2°F). Many homes remain without electricity or heating. People wear layers of warm clothes indoors and place firebricks on gas stoves, trying any way they can to heat their apartments. It is just as hard for animals; even for them, enduring the constant cold is a struggle. It is a relief when an apartment has gas, but many high-rise buildings don’t even have that. This winter has proven to be much colder and more difficult than expected, and as it turns out, we were completely unprepared for it. The state of Ukraine’s energy grid is critical. Today, due to russian strikes, Kyiv and seven other regions are without power. In the capital, some buildings are still without heat. In Zaporizhzhia, over 30,000 people have been left without electricity. The current attacks on urban infrastructure pose a real threat to human life. The russians are using the severe cold as yet another psychological weapon against Ukrainians! … outside the window, there is winter and war. At night, temperatures in many Ukrainian cities drop to -19°C (approximately -2.2°F). Many homes remain without electricity or heating. People wear layers of warm clothes indoors and place firebricks on gas stoves, trying any way they can to heat their apartments. It is just as hard for animals; even for them, enduring the constant cold is a struggle. It is a relief when an apartment has gas, but many high-rise buildings don’t even have that. This winter has proven to be much colder and more difficult than expected, and as it turns out, we were completely unprepared for it. The state of Ukraine’s energy grid is critical. Today, due to russian strikes, Kyiv and seven other regions are without power. In the capital, some buildings are still without heat. In Zaporizhzhia, over 30,000 people have been left without electricity. The current attacks on urban infrastructure pose a real threat to human life. The russians are using the severe cold as yet another psychological weapon against Ukrainians!
