We are pushing rape victims out of the justice process by requesting their personal records, such as therapy notes. The measures in this Bill do not go far enough to tackle this. We need judicial oversight and independent legal advice #keepcounsellingconfidential #victimslaw

You're doing it with family court as well and are giving them to our abusers to read, judges, barristers and solicitors who are analysing them and overruling actual experts and their reports. But you aren't even looking it or raising it. Some of those include sexual assault as well and many incidents of domestic abuse.

@EVAWuk @centreWJ @RapeCrisisEandW @jessphillips @VeraBaird @MoJGovUK @ukhomeoffice @MOPACLdn @CPSUK @PoliceChiefs What a silly argument

@EVAWuk @centreWJ @RapeCrisisEandW @jessphillips @VeraBaird @MoJGovUK @ukhomeoffice @MOPACLdn @CPSUK @PoliceChiefs We should aim to discover the truth with an inquisitorial process, evidence from past partners, greater weight for similar fact evidence, confidentiality maintained, judicial cross examination, a bar on publicity without victim consent, but all records should be avalable.
