Last night we had a magical and important night at Views. PS: we are gearing up for our Friday (13th March) evening with G.C Cameron and Mighty Popo ( Coming back to yesterday: We brought our two legends together, to meet, talk and learn about our #culture , share the #creation #production processes… from thinking about a song, to writing it, and recording it. Our case studies now 😎 #umunezero #iwacu #kana by our very own legend CEKA I RWANDA Then travelled few miles away (for the Jazz, Soul, and the Blues), to learn the creation process of hit songs like #mygirl by the famous #Motown band #thetemptations with G.C Cameron as the lead singer, and another song #itsashame by his first band #thespinners where he was also a lead singer G.C Cameron’s first song was written by Stevie Wonder …. (Did you know?) By the way, G.C gave us a small history background on how the famous song by The Spinners “it’s a shame” , written by #StevieWonder , was a one take record (very rare) when G.C and his band reached the studio. We also spoke and learned about the creation and production process of the world hit song G.C Cameron sang with the Temptation #Mygirl . It was written by the famous Smokey Robinson who worked closely with G.C back in his early days. Final sharing moment 🔥 Our very own Samuel Kamanzi sharing some amazing hints on his creation process, and learned from him about an amazing #Rwandan elder who did an amazing work on researching and writing about the roots of #Rwandan #music Why having these evenings? For the #culture , learning about it, teaching it, exporting it, and more importantly, connect it with other cultures. Nothing beats #music to do just that. For #creativity , understand the #creation process, how a global creation comes to be, role of each in the process, and more importantly finding patterns to guide the future generation of music #artists for even greater creations, and creating long lasting music. Thank you Gatete Nyiringabo Ruhumuliza 🌞 for hosting us, and creating a space where we can bring #artists together, learn, share, create, and innovate.

Was Ralph Tresvant feeling the pressure of going solo? Yes, Ralph is the lead singer of New Edition, but when the group disbanded after the immense success of their “Heart Break” album, Ralph was the last to release his solo project. Naturally, he had to feel the pressure! Despite Bobby Brown’s massive success with his “Don’t Be Cruel” album, the music industry was still buzzing with hits. Bell Biv DeVoe released one of the biggest New Jack Swing hits, “Poison,” which sold over 4 million copies. Then came Johnny Gill with two number 1 hits, “Rub You the Right Way” and everyone’s favorite, “My, My, My.” And let’s not forget Ralph Tresvant’s self-titled album, “Ralph Tresvant.” Compared to his brothers, it couldn’t have been a flop; it had to be number 1. In my opinion, the New Edition fans didn’t disappoint. Just like they supported and loved the rest of the group, they did the same for Ralph. His album and his first single, “Sensitivity,” both reached number 1, making history! What other music group has broken up, with each individual achieving major success either solo or in another group, only to reunite in 1996 with the album “Home Again”? This album went number 1, featuring a number 1 single, “Hit Me Off,” and continues to have one of the biggest tours and the best Las Vegas residency. Although they weren’t inducted into the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame as they deserved, they received the most votes from the people, which is a win in my book! Much love to every brother of New Edition! NewEditionHistorian New Edition New EditionLive #NewEdition #OnThatNote #Rnb #NewJackSwing #RalphTresvant #90s #80s

For Black History Month We honor James Brown — not just the Godfather of Soul, but a cultural pioneer whose impact on music, business, and Black excellence helped reshape American history. Born in 1933 in Barnwell, South Carolina, James Brown rose from deep poverty to become one of the most influential entertainers of the 20th century — creating a sound and stage presence that would lay the foundation for funk, soul, R&B, hip-hop, and modern pop music. But beyond the hits… he was a trailblazer in ways many don’t realize: ✨ One of the first Black artists to own his publishing rights — giving him control over his music and financial future at a time when most Black performers were exploited by the industry. ✨ Among the first Black entertainers to demand fair pay and integrated audiences — refusing to perform for segregated crowds during the Civil Rights era. ✨ First artist inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in its inaugural 1986 class — cementing his place as a musical architect of modern sound. ✨ One of the first major artists to use his platform for direct community reinvestment — funding scholarships, youth programs, and speaking in schools about education and self-determination. ✨ Performed for U.S. troops in Vietnam in 1968, bringing a sense of home to service members deployed in a time of war — a legacy that resonates with so many of us who’ve worn the uniform, including right here in communities like Moreno Valley and March Air Reserve Base. In 1968, James Brown performed for service members at March Air Force Base in Riverside County(where I served and live!) bringing the same energy and sense of home to troops stationed right here in our own community. ✈🏾 In the 1960s, James Brown became one of the first major Black recording artists to own a private jet — a Learjet 23 — during a time when most entertainers were still traveling by bus. For Brown, this wasn’t about luxury. It was about independence. Owning his own aircraft allowed him to control his touring schedule, move his band and crew between cities on his terms, and avoid many of the segregated travel barriers that still existed across the country. From Please, Please, Please to Say It Loud – I’m Black and I’m Proud, his music became both a soundtrack and a statement — uplifting identity, confidence, and pride during some of the most turbulent chapters in American history. James Brown didn’t just change music. He changed ownership. He changed performance standards. He changed what it meant for Black artists to lead — on stage and behind the scenes. His final performance may be over… …but the rhythm of his legacy still drives generations forward. 🖤🏾🎤 #BlackHistoryMonth #JamesBrown #MusicHistory #BlackExcellence

Donghae said he wanted to run away while working on his album, and Leeteuk even asked, ‘Have you ever cried while working?’ 🥹 #DONGHAE #동해 🐥: Do you want to run away? 🐯: Honestly, while making this album, I wanted to run away. 🐥: Hahaha. 🐯: For real. 🐥: It was so tough? 🐯: It was so tough? 🐥: Suju activities + album production... the intense album-making process. 🐯: When we were at SM, we were done once we recorded the song. 🐥: Yes, that's right. 🐯: But for this, I had to handle everything from 0.1 to 10. We were constantly in meetings. Meetings from morning till noon and from 5 or 6 PM, I was in the studio until 3 AM. I lived like that for about a year? Maybe 8 months. 🐥Now that I've heard all the songs, have you ever cried while working? Yes or no? 🐯: This reflects my feelings at the time. Because so many tasks came crashing down at once, with my company colleagues I work with and my music friends I work with, we were working continuously. [The Weight of a CEO] 🐯: The feeling that we have to keep creating something good, the compulsion and pressure? It kept coming between us. [Working on songs] 🐯: Am I having a hard time right now...? I just blurted that out when I was alone. But since I'm generally a positive person, I thought, "But in 3 months, the album will be well-made, and the fans will be enjoying it." In the end, I thought about our fans who would receive it, and while thinking about that, I think I kept my mental fortitude and carried on.

I don't usually talk about this, but you are not going to twist this live and push your solo agendas again. You all seriously need to listen to the boys carefully instead of trusting short clips before jumping to conclusions. I hate that you all always make an issue out of Martin and James's relationship, and honestly, their dynamics as a team overall. You don't even know them personally, YOU ARE JUST FANS. These boys have known each other for YEARS, and you have no right to judge or overanalyze their relationship with each other. You all seriously gotta stop doing that. It's so fucking annoying and i hate that it keeps happening. To clarify, these are two different situations. Here is the full clip up until they started talking about phone numbers, WATCH IT: 1. First, Martin talked about how he went to Seonghyeon and Juhoon's room yesterday to hang out. Seonghyeon fell asleep first, and Martin fell asleep on the couch. Then Keonho and Seonghyeon mentioned that Martin apparently fell asleep in the hallway too before the couch inside their room. James didn't know about it and was concern about Martin because that was dangerous. 2. James is not the reason Martin fell asleep in the hallway, Martin never said it so stop putting words into his mouth and making it seem like that's what he meant, he said that he woke up from Seonghyeon and Juhoon's room and then was just too tired to go inside of James room (their room). So I don't even know how you all came up with that conclusion that James didnt open the door. [2 questions later... DIFFERENT SITUATION] 3. They were asked who they would call for help in urgent situations, and they all answered their managers. Then James said he doesn't even save the members' phone numbers because they see each other every day and he only used Kakao. Martin then said that he has been trying to call James to get inside their room [DIFFERENT SITUATION] because they are roommates, but James just chooses not to answer because lately Martin doesn't bring his room keys. P.S Stop trying to turn the members against each other, and stop fucking creating an issue out of everything. I hate solos, and I will always hate solo stans who do this kind of shit. Stop judging them based on some image or narrative you’ve created in your head instead of who they actually are. You don’t know them personally, so stop projecting your own assumptions onto them and using them to create unnecessary drama. Just stop being toxic and support the members without constantly trying to pit them against each other.

Should Creatives Be Worried? Reflections on the Copyright Bill Debate. Parliament debated the Copyright Amendment Bill 12.03.26 during its 2nd reading, & the discussion raised several concerns. 1-The Rt. Hon. Speaker AAA asked why radio stations like her own mama bukedea should pay royalties to creators (artists) yet the stations are already promoting their work by playing their music. 2-Another MP argued that artists themselves often pay DJs and media hosts to promote their music, questioning why radio stations should still be required to pay royalties. 3-One submission called for a cost benefit analysis of the bill to clearly show what Artists stand to gain or lose if the law is passed. 4-Concerns were also raised about artists who may want their music promoted for free without media houses paying royalties. Dont they have liberty to choose? 5-Another MP argued that once an artist releases their music, it becomes public, and therefore people should be free to use it however way they wish without payment. 6-A further suggestion was that if artists want this bill passed, government should also begin taxing their revenue & income from public performances sighting zero tax compliance yet they want to be paid. The debate was eventually cut short due to a lack of quorum. However, a few observations stood out: 1-The debate focused mainly on music, overlooking the wider creative industries that copyright laws protect. 2-Some MPs seemed unaware that copyright protection is already a global standard for safeguarding creators’ rights. 3-It is unclear whether the proposed amendment was benchmarked against international markets with established copyright systems, since it does not introduce a new concept. 4-what Should be be the middle ground between media owners and creatives Without strong copyright protections, creatives may continue depending on occasional government support instead of earning sustainable income from their intellectual property. So i ask: should creatives be worried yet or you sense good will of passing the copyright amendment law? Dear creatives Watch👇🏻 Lets discuss. #NBSAfter5 Video credit : UBC UGANDA

Name of the Book: Why do we need MKS as PM of India? Chapter: 1 Page: 4 In 1982, when the youth wing was formed there was a proposal that Stalin should be appointed as coordinator, but Karunanidhi was the first person to reject the idea and walk out of the meeting saying “There are already two members from my family in the party; my son in law Murasoli Maran and I. I believe that is the limit and I don't want one more member from my family " The youth wing cadres and senior party members present in the meeting were in utter shock. Stalin was their nearperfect choice to lead the newly formed youth wing of DMK but Karunanidhi was very firm about not including another family member into the official ranks of the party. The meeting was inconclusive and no one was able to convince Karunanidhi about Stalin being a good choice to lead the youth DMK wing. A senior cadre K. Subbu stood up and put forward his opinion which was the opinion of almost all the youth wing cadres. He said “We are not asking Stalin to lead the youth DMK because he is Kalaignar's son. If we wanted Kalaignar's son to be the youth wing coordinator we would have asked for Muthu, Alagri, or Tamil Arasu but the majority of us want Stalin to be the coordinator. When the emergency was declared in 1976, Stalin was arrested and taken away from his home by the police. Karunanidhi should have stopped them and declared that Stalin was not an official member of the party but he did not do so. Eventually, Stalin had undergone numerous hardships during imprisonment for the sake of the party and that demonstrates his devotion to the party. Kalaignar did not stop Stalin from being arrested that day hence he should not stop him from being the coordinator of the youth DMK today.” After this representation and the unwavering support from the members of the party, Karunanidhi couldn’t interfere with the democratic decision of the party cadres. It was the first official position given to Stalin in the DMK party. Created by Kathir RS

NEW: China's President Xi Jinping personally approved CEFC China Energy's business partnership with the Biden family. When Tony Bobulinski expressed concern about Hunter and James Biden's ability to overrule him on corporate decisions, Hunter let Bobulinski know that CEFC’s Ye Jianming and Zang Jianjun were in business “to be partners with the Bidens” and that “the #1 (Xi Jinping) has made that clear.” “TONY that is what Zhang implied - they are both coming to be MY partner to be partners with the Bidens. He has implied that the #1 [Xi Jinping] has made that clear and available to him.” Hunter referred to President Joe Biden as "my Chairman," and James Gilliar, a Biden business partner, reminded Bobulinski: "Don't mention Joe being involved, it's only when u are face to face, I know u know that but they are paranoid." In an FBI interview last year, James Biden told agents that he and Hunter were trying to help CEFC China Energy purchase U.S. energy assets while they believed the company's chairman had direct ties to China's President Xi Jinping. "James B noted that RHB [Robert Hunter Biden] portrayed CEFC to him as Chairman Ye was a protégé of President Xi," FBI agents wrote in the report. Rob Walker, another Biden business partner, also confirmed that President Biden attended a meeting with CEFC chairman Ye Jianming, who Hunter and James considered "a protégé of President Xi." The Biden family received millions from CEFC China Energy, including a million-dollar wire transfer from CEFC's Patrick Ho, whom Hunter called "the spy chief of China," after Ho was arrested by the DOJ for bribing African politicians with millions in cash for their countries' oil rights. President Biden received money from Hunter and James Biden's deal with CEFC China Energy through Sara Biden, according to a Wall Street Journal report. Specifically, 10% for the Big Guy. In other words, President Joe Biden, Hunter's "Chairman," attended meetings and received money from his family's business deal with CEFC China Energy, a company where his brother and son collaborated with individuals they described as "the spy chief of China" and "a protégé of President Xi." Announcing a new Tim Hortons whistleblower website! We’ve just launched a new website, called and it’s exactly what it sounds like. It’s a place for whistleblowers — especially people who work inside Tim Hortons — to confidentially tell us the truth about what Tim Hortons is doing, especially with its unfair labour practices and its obsession with hiring foreign workers instead of Canadians. If you’re a customer with a horror story, you can also file that complaint right there, too. There are other things you can do at — you can see our latest news reports on Tim Hortons’ bad behaviour; and you can sign our petition, pledging not to eat there. And there’s a fun part to it, also: Tim Hortons was furious that we were criticizing them, so they threatened us with a lawsuit. They think that will shut us up. So, on we’re going to fight back, the Canadian way — with a sense of humour and free speech. We’re having an official Tim Hortons meme contest — make your best “meme” about Tim Hortons. It can be about anything. The decline in quality of their food, for example. Some of the hygiene problems their stores have recently had. But the main thing we care about is their terrible corporate decision to hire foreign workers instead of Canadians. It can be a still image or a video; it can be commentary or an AI movie. Your imagination is the only limit! And on July 1 — Canada Day, or as Tim Hortons calls it, Hire Foreigners Day — we’ll announce the winners, and we’ll have real prizes for the best memes, including great Rebel News merch — and a cash prize of $250 for the top meme. Challenging Tim Hortons is serious business. If they’re willing to abuse their own staff, you can imagine what they’re trying to do to us. They already had Gowlings — a law firm with nearly 1,500 lawyers — threaten us. Well, the truth is a defence, and that’s what is all about. If you’re an insider, tell us what’s going on. If you’re a customer, tell us about your experience with a once-great company. If you’re a citizen, sign the petition promising not to eat there anymore, until they change their ways. And if you’ve got a sense of humour, enter our meme contest — you could even win some prizes! REPORT by Ezra Levant 🍁🚛:
