When I was 8, I used to climb up onto the roof of our house and just lie there on my back, looking at the stars. I’d think about how huge the universe was and how small we really are/I’d wonder whether there was life out there somewhere, and if we could ever travel to those stars

If the Milky Way were the size of North America, the sun would be six micrometers across. 6 millionths of a meter... Earth is a million times smaller than the sun....we are incredibly tiny. For perspective we measure cells in micrometers. The Milky Way isn't a huge galaxy either.
